FREE TASTER! Groove for Kids! (and the whole family)

TOMORROW Tuesday 23 July 1:30-2:15pm
ADVANCED BOOKING ESSENTIAL - spaces limited.

Join Groove with Melanie for this fun and creative dance class for the whole family - yes, everyone must participate 😁!

What is Groove? In Groove there is no complicated choreography to learn. One of the positive messages we say in Groove is "you can't get it wrong".

Perfect for children of all ages to strengthen their bodies and stimulate their brains in ways that traditional sports and dance do not do.

One of the most important benefits of Groove, especially for children is that it encourages play.
By inviting children to play with different kinds of energies without a goal of it looking a particular way or to get it “right,” they can experience diverse movements with associated feelings (such as; heavy stomp, soft sway, obscure crawls) to dance through them.

Not only does groove help develop key physical competencies in children and youth, it also helps nurture emotional awareness in a non-verbal, creative way.

And it's amazing fun!

Advanced booking is essential as there are limited spaces - 20 families maximum.

Please contact the Linskill Centre to book your FREE SPACES on 0191 257 8000 or contact us via our website: https://linskill.org/whats-on/events/

We hope you didn't miss out on our delicious fresh strawberry cream scones last week in Cafe 32?

These were particularly special as the strawberries had been grown in our very own Community Garden at Linskill. Zero food miles! Don't worry, there's plenty more where they came from in the coming weeks.

Our volunteers grow fruits and vegetables for use in our Cafe 32, plus ingredients for use in our community cooking sessions. Plant and produce sales are also held seasonally to raise funds to support the garden.

With a strong environmental ethos, everything in the garden is donated and upcycled. If you would like to find out more or get in touch: https://tinyurl.com/4j63db9c
