🌕🌘🌓 Join us on a journey North of the River, East of the Moon, where Yvette Ja’s new installation celebrates the timeless allure of the moon and sea, drawing inspiration from Korean and British folklore. This exhibition, coinciding with Korea’s Chuseok festival, explores the moon’s role in navigation, harvest cycles, and cultural rituals spanning centuries in both Eastern and Western traditions.

Final weekend for the Lucy Waters intallation, Beyond Blue. Since its openining Lucy has been hard at work ever since with her work selected for The Open Submission, in association with , until Sept 1st 2024. Other exciting news, Lucy is one of the eight artists shortlisted for the North East Emerging Artist Award at . The exhibition for the shortlisted proposals and your chance to vote for your favourite opens Wednesday May 15th and runs until Sunday 23rd June 2024. Congratulations from all at Globe.
