Top landing and bedroom floor area, done by pete from Picassos 75 ft of board replacements added to get rid of the solid cut across the floor and have the boards laid stagger cut (no 2 cuts along side each other) once sanded and joints filled a light oak dye has been applied before the first coat of polyurethane seal has been applied

Living room,hallway and under stair toilet floor area, Lino and hardboard uplifted and de nailed in hallway and understair toilet, then sanded,joints filled and sealed with 70-90ft of board replacements at a property on Westfield Ave,Monkseaton done by Me,Pete and Davey today

first coat of seal just went down and we’ll be back first thing in the morning to buff the area back, clean down and apply final coat of polyurethane seal.

Day 1
2 sub hearths removed,joist fitted and boarded out in stagger cut boards plus 200 ft board replacements old and new and a bit of sanding carried out at a property on Belford Tce,North shields yesterday!

Always worth ringing up a waste removal company before you order the skip, they took all this away from the customers property for £130 so we could get to those floors 😁

Cast iron combination fireplace with slate hearth cut to 12” x 47.75” in order to have customers supplied fender she inherited from her mother fit around it, fitted for display purpose only by pete from Picassos Flooring & Fireplaces

Sand,fill joints,6 foot of board replacements, dyed in Dark rich mahogany then sealed with 2 coats of polyurethane seal at a property on Hawthorne Gardens, Monkseaton done by Pete from Picassos

Kitchen floor area on Belford Tce, North Shields sanded joints filled with 3 coats of 2 pack waterbase seal advised to achieve a lighter finish and being a kitchen floor area it should give more protection done by Davey from Picassos Flooring & Fireplaces

Large full columned slate surround and cast iron arched insert with 2” thick slate hearth, fitted for display purpose only
Rouge marble surround,tiled insert and tiled hearth removed, concrete lintel fitted, entire back of tiled insert bricked up and back filled with a mixture 4 parts sand 1 part cement and 1/2 part lime with 4 brackets screwed to the slate legs then screwed into the brick chimney breast wall legs then back filled with a mixture of sand, cement and lime, once slate hearth was bedded onto a sand cement and rapid set mix with back T piece in 1.5” thick slate
