There are various methods of 3D printing, the most common, and the version we offer, is known as FDM or Fused Deposition Modelling, FDM is a form of additive manufacturing process. The 3D printer understands the area within its enclosure as a 3D environment with X,Y & Z coordinates, the print-head is most commonly mounted on 3 stepper motors that move the head along these axis while a trail of filament is laid, the printed object is built up layer by layer until the model is complete. Each layer is generally less than 1mm thick so the process can be lengthy but the outcome is amazing, the printer can make a high-quality, strong and astonishingly accurate object for a 3D CAD design and some plastic filament. design service

If you don't have or can't find the design files, we can help with that too. Our in-house design team have experience with lots of different CAD packages, we also have a 3D Scanner. All we need is either a physical item to replicate or a precise description and dimensions of the part you need and we can build the necessary files. We will always email you a proof design to check over before we proceed with printing.
