The Journey

It all began in the little Island of Jamaica. There I started my journey from Dancing to Sign Language/Dance. My group and I won many competitions and developed our skills in the process. I came across, which I thought was strange at first, a ministry called Gospel Miming. It was something new, unique and powerful. When our faces are painted, it removes ourselves from the equation, telling your story and experiences.

I went to another church called NTCG Old Harbour, Jamaica, where I brought this new idea of ministry and created a miming group that grew from 3 - 18 people. It was an awesome time where we travelled and ministered across Jamaica for over 2 years, but God had it, that my family and I to move back home to England. It was here, ministering my first performance at my home church NTCG Wood Green UK, where the name Speechless Mime was made. From here I went on to churches in London such as NTCG Edmonton & COGIC in Tottenham, as well as, other churches like NTCG Handsworth. God used me to bring a great blessing to his people through a never seen or known before minister.

My family and I, decided to move from London to Northampton where I met a gifted young man name Daniel Barnett. My brother Sean Anderson who was actually with me from the beginning joined to make up the trio of Speechless Mime. We started our ministry @NTCG Northampton where we worship. This was an awesome time that God used us for over 3 years across the UK. Uniquely allowing the Holy Spirit to move through us to disturb the Kingdom of Darkness. People grew to know of Speechless Mime from National Youth Convention 2011 - 2012. In our travels, there’s been a great enjoyment and love from those who has experienced this form of ministry. In 2013 we were privileged to be invited to our 1st COGIC National Convention. The Holy Spirit used us mightily to lift the heavy atmosphere and allowed the heavens to open with a song called; “No Limits,” by; Israel & New Breed.

Going back to 2011 - 2012, we joined forces with 3 young dancers from our church @NTCG Northampton, we stormed and rocked the grounds of NTCG National Youth Convention in 2011. We ministered with them for just over a year.

2014, was our last travels together as a Trio and at the end of the year the 2 moved on in their lives and career. I took a break for 4 - 6 months, but continued to minister locally as I rebuilt Speechless Mime. During that time I found it quite difficult to minister as I felt like something was missing. I felt lost and empty without the support of Sean and Daniel. I went through a series of fasting and prayer and God brought me back to where I needed to be. Near the end of the year I started travelling again and ministering in local conventions, concerts and Sunday services.

In 2015, I met a talented young man named Christian Maynard and he was and still is a blessing. We started travelling again and toured through London, Manchester, Wales, Birmingham etc. with our 1st performance @NTCG Northampton. God has blessed us so greatly in this ministry and opened doors for more opportunities. We’ve had the opportunity to minister with Volney Morgan & NewYe @VMN live recording concert 2015. We’ve also ministered along side Israel J. Allen, Becca Folks, Guvna B and Noel Robinson, and was privileged to ministered @MidNight Oil and @iAm Found in 2016.

God has take Speechless Mime from a mighty long way. We’ve been to so many places that we’ve only dreamed of being. God has been truthful, strong, faithful, gracious, merciful, a blessing, protector and loving. To The Lord Jesus Christ Be All The Glory & Honour.

In our travels, we remind ourselves to rebuild and refill ourselves with the Holy Spirit through fasting, prayer and The Word of God (Bible/Preachers). Most importantly we take the time to worship the Almighty for everything He has done and doing in our rehearsals and at events. Many times we would spend half of our rehearsals worshipping and praying.

We were privileged to meet some many Performance Arts / Ministers across the UK but, the above were ones that captured our hearts and minds, and new that we would work well together. Dee who does Flag Dance Ministry @WizM Dance Ministry (wordintomovement), is so awesome and uses her Flags as an extension of her arms. Chantelle and TJ who belongs to a dance group in London are so creative, expressive and such a blessing. As Speechless Mime continues to grow and develop, we are continuously searching for more talented, experienced and anointed individuals such as the above, to join us on our journey.

On December 9th 2017, was our first ever Speechless Mime Production. It was a great success and a blessing in many ways. When I say; “God is good,” I mean God is good. We thank though’s who supports and prays for Speechless Mime as we continue to push for greatness, more understanding, more power, opportunities and creativity, to enhance our ministry for the Kingdom of GOD.

We have now made it into 2018. It’s time for us to move forward and become even greater in the Kingdom. Let the Holy Ghost move through Speechless Mime like never before this year. God Bless!
