Absolutely stunning display of flowers on our beautiful mock orange (Philadelphus virginial) this year all smelling absolutely beautiful, we only have a few left so grab one while you can.

One of the joys of a wildflower meadow is seeing new things each year growing up together knowing it's all nature's way with no involvement, you just get to enjoy the beauty it brings just like this mullion, Dame's violet and hedge woundwort in the meadows

Countless native & migratory pollinators love the high nectar flowers. Also a great ground cover under trees.

An essential wildflower for high nectar food sources at the beginning of the year the stunning cowslip (Primula veris) are looking great with lots to buy and see.
For any romantics out there if a suitor gives his love a sprig of a cowslip on May Day, they will be married before year’s end or so the olde worlde says.

So happy that the honey bees we have in the meadows have been doing great and have moved from there nursery into hives, so fascinating to watch (from a far🐝) the colony growing and flourishing and watching them enjoy the high nectar flowers in the nursery and meadows.

We have last few beautiful common toadlax
(Linaria vulgaris) looking for a garden to brighten up.
Stunning yellow and orange flowers attract lots of pollinators especially the orange tip butterfly (Anthocharis cardamines.)
So many historical uses insext repellent, wound healing, fabric dye but also wards of evil spirits.

A favorite cottage garden plant & favorite among pollinators, such as butterflies and bees, due to its abundance of stunning nectar-rich flowers.

We love finding new plant and animal species in the meadows, just like these beautiful Giant Puffball - (Calvatia gigantea)
to me they look like mini version of the moon. GORGEOUS 😍
