Well hello you beautiful humans🫶
Ohhh how I have missed you all sooo much🥹
I thought I'd update you all on what's been going on in my life this last year...with complete honesty so I can finally have a fresh start💌
I've had quite a lot of time to myself recently, working myself out🙄 (if that's even possible😂)
After lockdown my anxiety got extremely unbearable, to the point I didn't even dare to go onto my phone. I slowly but surely stopped doing clients, just to keep my mind at ease. I put so much pressure on myself to be the best version of myself that eventually that became impossible. I stopped messaging people back, I cut contact with friends and I became quite the hermit. I made myself believe that if I didn't have anyone to 'impress' I wouldn't feel the way I did. But ohhh how wrong was I, I became worse than I ever had before. Now I felt like a massive failure too. I'd built my dream life and then basically thrown it all away for what? For me to be alone and stuck in my own world of anxiety and loneliness. Let's just say it sucked👎
But then the best thing in this whole world happened to me out of the blue...
I GOT PREGNANT!!!🤰😭
As a lot of my past clients know, I didn't think I could have babies so this was literally the best feeling I've ever had💝
I started doing a few clients here and there because I knew I needed to save up ready for when the baby came. But unfortunately my pregnancy wasn't quite the breeze I had hoped it would be. I was extremely poorly everyday, to the point I couldn't even get out of bed most days ☹️ so working was pretty tough to say the least, and my anxiety was back all over again. How was I going to provide for my baby if I couldn't even get out of bed?
My baby girl was brought into this world on 19th of April this year and she is absolutely PERFECT🥹
All of a sudden I had so much energy and I felt happiness that I had never had the pleasure of feeling before! 🥰 having a baby really does put a lot of things into perspective too.
I decided I needed to work on myself before going back to work, so I could give it my absolute all this time around 💪 I took extra courses to learn how to be the best lash tech that I could, I learned about anxiety and how to combat it, I finally confided in family and friends and I found somewhere I felt comfortable working from.
I've now slowly started working on clients again, and I can honestly tell you that I've never felt better 🥹 I have realised why I love my job and my clients so much and that I don't need to 'impress' anyone, I just need to be me. But without my clients I can't be 100% me, because you literally bring out the best version of myself that I thought was long gone.
My anxiety is still there, but I'm working on it every single day. And the more clients I see, the more I can feel my brain smashing it away. I CAN do this! Especially with you guys by my side 🩷
I'm sorry if anyone feels like I abandoned them, I promise you that isn't the case. I just had a lot of self work to complete. But I'M BACK, and for good this time💋
I am now working from Rosebank Sports in Northwich Town on a Wednesday and a Saturday. I would absolutely love to see you all, I have honestly missed you more than I would my right arm!
