This month it’s Phil Redfern our Auditor monitor who’s presence at Hillhead deserves recognition as an integral part of the NPORS team and went above and beyond his duties without any encouragement and it was noticed. Thank you Phil.

June is PRIDE month, a month that celebrates LGBTQ+ around the world.
It's about people coming together in love and friendship and showing how far LGBTQ+ rights have come - and reminding ourselves that there's still work to be done all across the world.

Today marks the 80th anniversary of the D-Day Landings, a day which changed the course of history.

Each day we have is a privilege for which many of our ancestors paid the ultimate price.

We remember them.

Its a big shout out for Sue Adamson our Training Provider, OTC and Instructor Manager, because not only does she go above and beyond for her team, focusses on her promises and is a real team player. It’s her 15 year NPORS Anniversary.

From May 13th to May 19th, Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 will be shining a spotlight on the theme of “Movement: Moving more for our mental health.” We all recognise the importance of staying active for our mental well-being.

Each month we recognise staff members whose performance exceeds one or more of the NPORS values and we are proud to say are part of our team.
This month Monika Pietraszkiewicz, our Operator Administrator is being recognised for not only one but two of our company values. Firstly for going above and beyond her duties without any encouragement and secondly Monika has shown herself as an integral part of her team when it needed her most.

NPORS have been working with industry Specialists to devise new categories and we are pleased to announce the following are now available.

N051 - Wind turbine lifting operation
N051 ACTR Instructors who require this category to be added to their instructor remit - must hold as a prerequisite:
N402 Slinger / Signaller
N014 Marine Knuckle Boom Crane

Also instructors must attend the 2 Day N051 operator course.
The instructor will then be required to undertake a Route 1 monitor visit. ACTR application complete with the above evidence sent to the instructor admin team, application fee will apply and the current monitor fees

NPORS would like thank Orsted and Furness Fluid Power Ltd (1773) for their support working alongside NPORS to develop the N051.

We’ve setup at Scotplant 24 and we’ll be on STAND C11 tomorrow and Saturday with our simulator, info and support. With a chance to win the NPORS waffle beanie’s and ChiLLy bottles whilst stocks last.

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. The official theme for 2024 is "Planet vs. Plastics."
It’s our yearly wake up call confronting our impact on our planet.
