A good couple of days completed in New Costessey, little lean to built with polycarbonate roof, guttering and water butt.

Some new 250mm x 125mm treated timber sleepers installed along with 100mm x 100mm timber edging to border grass and planting area.

A lovely transformation on this job with some retaining treated timber sleepers & steps installed from Thomson Sawmills Ltd

The upper part of the garden was levelled out with some fresh topsoil and seed that has already started coming through nicely. Longwater Gravel

New soakaway & aco drain installed via construction & 68m2 of 600mm x 600mm dark grey textured concrete paving slabs from J Medler Ltd

A lovely bit of 14mm Norwegian Granite laid to the outside of the paving to add a nice finishing touch 💫

We were very well looked after by our lovely customers, lots of tea, biscuits and more which kept our energy up for the near 190 slabs put down ☕️🍪🥓

It has definitely modernised this garden with a fresh clean look 👌 😍

A little garden transformation in Drayton completed this week, making it a lot more workable for our customer.

A few drone shots and before & after pictures.

x2 patio extensions, sleeper planter & retainers, concrete edgings, gravel pathways and planting area along with losing the sloping grass by adding some topsoil and seed once retainers were in.

Another little job completed today. Our customer recently had a new shed installed but the ground needed retaining. They asked for some timber edging along with a couple of trellis L shaped panels to be made up, so here it is.....

We don't always showcase our smaller jobs on our socials, but it doesn't mean they are any less important to us.

Unfortunately for our customers on this occasion they had invested in another contractor to carry out a job for them a couple of years ago, and the sub base and retaining sleeper wall had failed quite badly resulting in some pretty bad sinking.

We removed the old 4x4 posts and replaced them with sleeper posts, removed and re-fitted existing sleepers, peeled up the artificial grass and compacted a further 2.5 tonnes of granite dust. Finished off with some shingle at the back to neaten up. We also decided to brush up the whole grass area for them to get it looking nice and clean again.

** A lovely raised timber decking area completed this week in New Costessey **

The ground was quite badly sloped so we have installed this decking area for our customers to enjoy 🌞 along with a nice wide pathway to match the steps and cut cleanly into the fence using every bit of space.

We also laid a couple of buff sandstone slabs to make the step up more workable and we think it works really well.

A lovely bespoke timber pergola with screening made to fit into an awkward angled space. We also laid a raised Modak sandstone patio to match the existing slabs, which we made a seperate job of pressure washing, cleaning out the joints and re-pointing which has really made a difference.

A lovely new space for our customers to enjoy 🙂

** Drayton Job Complete **

Really happy with how this has turned out, the rainy weather & standard new build boggy ground made it a pretty tough job. Our Lovely customer Jo, is delighted with it & says it has exceeded her expectations which is what it is all about for us 🙂

The ground was so boggy that we had to dig down much further than normal, which meant alot more sub base and topsoil was needed but it had to be done as not doing this would have compromised the job which isnt something we would ever do. We also decided to re-turf the garden for our customer rather than our quoted for topsoil & seed.

We installed some raised sleeper beds around the upper garden level and filled with topsoil. Our customer will be adding her own planting which will really finish off this garden nicely.

The main feature of this garden is the stunning porcelain paving areas (Bellezza Lite Riva). We created a diagonally laid top patio space which is lead to by a lovely pathway and steps along with 2 more curved patio areas and leading pathways.

A lovely space to enjoy all ready for summer 🌞🌻🌹☀️

A Nice little front garden completed in Taverham this week. It was a little tired looking and in need of some updating so we changed the entrance layout with some 600mm x 600mm textured buff concrete slabs coming off of the public pathway, added an artificial grass area, along with some concrete edging alongside shrubbery to tidy that end up. A 4x2 treated timber edging was added with some lovely Ilux box plants and finished with 20mm Cotswold Gravel.

** Patio finished today in Norwich **

A bit of land at the rear of this garden was in desperate need of some updating, so we have created this lovely buff mixed sandstone paving with full legth treated sleeper step and bbq area.

Our customers are looking to add a garden structure in the near future so we have also installed a soakaway which is all ready for the guttering when needed.

A large tree was recently removed down to the stump which had to stay due to the depth of the roots potentially causing damaged to the surrounding walls. We have nicely guided the patio around this and added a 10mm natural shingle border to tie in with the rest of the garden theme.

A big thanks for some great work getting our materials over the wall from Rob Deeba & Jewson. Access was through the house and down an alley way for the remainder of the materials and dig out so certainly not easy!

💦🐸 ** Wildlife Pond finished in Taverham ** 🦟🪰

A lovely little wildlife Pond that we created to fit into a corner space of this garden.

We first of all installed some concrete posts with trellis and 6x2 timbers. Then some reclaimed railway sleepers to get the shape that was required. Once dug out filled with some sand to smooth out, and then fitted the underlay and liner.

A top quality pump and filter system was fitted, along with an old water pump that we sprayed up to make a lovely trickle water feature.

All the water is fed from waterbuts throughout this lovely natural garden.

We then created a natural look with some re-used Flints, plants, ceramic plant pots and driftwood.

All ready to for the bugs and wildlife to move into their new home 🐞🪲🪰🐸

An existing customer asked us to design and create a raised decking area to replace a wasted and unused space that was full of unwanted Shrubs.

We decided to create the area using timber decking from Thomson Sawmills Ltd which matched in with the existing area we had previously completed. Some screening was installed to create a lovely back drop and add some privacy and an enclosed, cosy feel.

We also made up 2 bespoke planters out of 3x3 timber and deck boards, which was lined and filled with top quality bedding soil from Baileys of Norfolk Ltd

To add the finishing touches we purchased some lovely bamboo & palms along with some pots all from Taverham Nursery Centre

Membrane and 20mm Natural Shingle from Longwater Gravel topped up and levelled out nicely to finish.

** Drayton Job Completed **

A lovely project completed today in Drayton. Lots of work involved in this one, we are really happy with how it has turned out 🙂

✅️ A bespoke timber car port, made up from 6x6 Posts, 6x2 timber frame and some lovely treated T&G. Felt shingles fitted to the roof, alongside some guttering that leads to the new soakaway that we installed.

✅️ Storage lean to, 4x4 posts, 6x2 timber frame and T&G. Felt shingles also added to the roof.

✅️ New driveway & path under lean to & car port. Grey brick edgings laid to outer perimeter to frame, and some lovely modern looking Woburn Rumbled Graphite block paving laid to complete area.

✅️ 38mm Senna Artificial Grass Laid to remaining area which really brightens up the area and highlights the structures around it nicely.

✅️ A bespoke timber arbour made with screening and little planters each side which our customer will fill with some climbing plants.

✅️ A lovely 2.4m x 2.4m Pergola with grey concrete pavings slabs laid. But the best part is obviously the installation of our customers GoGo Dinosaur 🦖

A lovely timber pond finished in New Costessey for an existing customer.

Treated timber sleepers & 6x2 framing with a water blade to create a nice relaxing area for our lovely customers to enjoy 🌞🍷☕️

A high quality hozelock pump and filter installed. Some beautiful grasses and acer compliments the surround nicely along with some pond plants.
