Client in spixworth wanted a concrete base installed ready for a lean to greenhouse to go up.
Whilst there there asked about the front rotten sleeper retaining wall and steps that were falling apart.
10x5 concrete base installed and then a complete rip out and like for like install of a new sleeper retaining wall and steps.
All waste removed, timber treated and waterproofed, bolt holes filled and sanded ready for client to repaint π
Nice couple of quick jobs during bigger projects this week.
4 day turn around consisting of 2 half days work from quote to completion on a turfing job in horsford for a great couple. All waste removed and 3.5 tonne of clean topsoil to level before installing 51.5mΒ² of turf and bonus that they also made some great brews π
And whilst waiting for a delayed turf delivery we shot over to old catton for a waste removal of just over a tonne of concrete that was left behind by a builder after a kitchen floor rip out.
We have some availability in our diary still and would love to have a chat about how we can help you
We are extremely pleased to announce that as part of community projects, we will be volunteering time to PACT Animal Sanctuary in Norwich to assist with any grounds maintenance or landscaping they may need.
We visited the site last week and had an in depth tour and discussion about their needs and what we can do to help.
If there are any companies that would like to assist us to help them then please get in contact π€π

Entire roof ripped out, rebuilt like for like and then sanded and restained the entire structure, and a restain for all the garden fences also π
Small patio extension, customer had already started on the edging, it now gives them a space for a table and chairs to enjoy what's left of the sun
Customer had copious amounts of bamboo against the fenceline which was causing damage and had grown through damaging the neighbours decking.
All pulled out ensuring we got it all, a couple of hedges removed and a general tidy up of all hedge lines

12ft X 8 trampoline at ground level with 1 metre clearance below. Around 8 tonne to be removed and relocated, spread across the rest of the garden and reseeded ππ€
Giving a helping hand at a school fete over the weekend moving some straw bales for Friends of the Federation of Spixworth Schools
Always happy to help out in the community where we can π
We said we wanted to step up and give back to the community, this job was for a child's playgroup in Lowestoft. their storage sheds kept getting broke into so a company donated a container for them.
Their existing base wasn't sufficient for the container so we installed an extension using ground screws to allow the container to sit on.
We donated the labour to the playgroup to minimise their cost and fitted it for free.
We'd love to get behind our community even more and deliver projects at a minimal cost to them. If your a business and would like to support us, or a local school or social club and would like to get in contact to see how we can help then please don't hesitate.
As a small local business we thrive in the local communities day in, day out.
But our community should also be able to turn to us should they also need something.
To that end we are looking into various ways to be able to help out and give back to the community
Raffles/ticket competitions:
through raffles and ticket sales in the form of a competition that will allow us to give garden renovations to families that would otherwise not have the budget or finances to provide safe play areas for children
Community project funds:
Raising money through various means to approach local schools/playgroups, social clubs etc to provide them with play areas/equipment or general landscape renovations to upgrade existing areas or play equipment.
We are looking for other local businesses that would be happy to contribute financially/ with materials/ play equipment or even services to be able to offer our local infrastructure that we so heavily rely on, much needed upgrades and equipment with minimum to no cost to them.
We strongly believe we can achieve this but we would require help along the way. If you have a business or any other ideas as to how we can come together and give back to the community that supports us then please get in contact π
Another renovation for a customer this week that wanted a low maintenance but clean and tidy back garden.
Removed :
- large decking area
- Large quantity of paving slabs
- squared up the grass area
Installed:
- Small patio seating area
- raised bed
- bark border beds
- shingle pathway
- sleeper dividers to prevent stone/bark spilling on to the grass
Elderly customer wanted a low maintenance, levelled area of her garden because it was too much to manage and the large uneven mounts amongst it made cutting the grass an impossible task.
15 tonne removed, 27 tonne moved.
Steps built to the shed, 35 railway sleepers installed to allow a level area and about 8 tonne of 40mm shingle moved by hand to create a blank canvas area so the customer can place some features later down the line.
Although extremely busy we do have some availability if you need any work done on your gardens.

Extremely busy few days Complete rip out of a side garden, levelled down about 3 feet in some places, tree completely removed including stump, shed base extended ready for a bigger shed and ground now ready for client to try their hand at laying their own turf.
About 19 tonne removed in total
More work in the pipe line for the property for a complete rear garden rip out and start again π.
Little weekend tidy up for a customer with an out of control garden. Will take some more work as the garden is fairly big but here's a start to the back 1/3.
Looking forward to seeing it all done with the plans the customer has for the renovation π
Double teamed with S G Brickwork on this 1. Was was extremely damaged due to ivy growing through the brick and completely left to its own devices.
Wall repairs by Scott allowing the garden clearance and the turf to be laid after a cheeky wall paint as chosen by the client.
Certainly looks alot better now than it did previously allowing the customer to enjoy their garden space
Have really enjoyed this little project for a customer. Fantastic family and even the kids got stuck in along the way, bacon sandwiches and tea and coffee on tap aswell πͺπ.
With some more work later down the line with a decking area to replace the front slabs and tidy along the front. Can't wait to see when the grass has grown through
Had a couple of visits to this garden to completely rip out, level and start again, with 2 separate patching sessions complete. Now it's been handed back to the customer for their on going care from now on
What a difference from before we stepped in to a photo taken today πͺπ
4m X 4m base almost complete and ready for a summer house to go on top π€
The beauty about ground screws is that there is no need for digging, no expensive cost of a subbase or concrete or waiting for a costly grab lorry to remove all the turf and soil that was dug out.
If your looking for a shed/solid base for any project then don't hesitate to get in contact.
Ground screws are a cost effective replacement to concrete, can be removed at any time and relocated with no unnecessary damage or excavation of your property.
We utilise ground screws for:
- decking
- shed bases/summer house bases
- raised areas
Another recent clean up for the team π
