Camp area is fab kids had the barn to go and investigate what gave us time to setup ☺️ we took our water container and did not need it as everyone had there own water tap this was another awesome bonus to us. Every staff member we met was so helpful and friendly we had the privilege of meeting lisa on our second night who was an absolute diamond she was working the bank holiday Monday to serve me a couple of pints thank you Lisa. Honestly first time we have got to a campsite and wanted to already rebook for the following year. thank you to all the team we had a great stay and will see you next year 😜"

We are looking to recruit a cleaner to help maintain the high standards set at Roundwood Function and Conference Centre and Roundwood Dell campsite. The role will include cleaning of the bar and function room on a daily basis as well as the campsite toilet and shower block.

Due to the seasonal nature of the campsite and bookings in the function room a degree of flexibility will be needed to increase hours according to need.

Camping and murder mysteries to be combined this summer A Camp Out Fall Out murder mystery game will be held at Roundwood Dell, a new campsite just outside Taverham, in June.

We have had a couple of calls over the past 24 hours from people who are looking for pitches this weekend as their plans have changed due to waterlogged sites. We are pleased to say that we are still open this weekend and have just a few grass pitches for tents only remaining. The site is on sand-based soil so drainage is good. All pitches have 16A EHU

We also have our covered barn area with table tennis table and indoor games for if the rain does arrive or you can come up to our bar and cafe area to play pool or help yourself to one of our board games. The cafe is open for breakfast and evening bar meals but currently only serving a limited menu.

Campsite Assistant Manager Role – Seasonal Position with a possibility of a permanent role
We are looking for an assistant manager to help with the smooth running of the campsite throughout the summer.
The role will include:
• Managing bookings via our online booking system and Pitchup
• Dealing with enquiries via phone and email
• Checking in/out guests
• Carrying out minor maintenance work on the campsite
• Checking pitches between guests
• Cleaning of communal areas when required
• Selling items from our small shop and ordering stock
• Some bar/café work
The ideal candidate would be someone who:
• Enjoys working and taking on new challenges
• Works well as part of a team but is also happy to work independently
• Gets on well with others and enjoys talking to people
• Is not afraid to use their initiative but knows when to ask for help
• Enjoys being outdoors whatever the weather
• Has a full driving licence (to be able to drive our gator vehicle around the campsite)
• Is over 18 years (to be able to serve behind the bar)
The days of work will mainly be Friday afternoons/weekends and bank holidays. With the possibility of additional hours during the week in school holidays.
Rate of pay dependent on age and experience. Uniform provided. Company pension scheme for eligible employees

On Saturday 10 June 2023, we are partnering with Yellow Mysteries Entertainment to bring to you an exclusive murder mystery plot for Roundwood Dell campsite. You will be able to interrogate the suspects, listen to clues and solve a murder whilst enjoying a 'dell-icious' afternoon tea served in our cafe. This event is open to both campers staying with us for the weekend and people who just want to attend the event (12:15pm-2:45pm)

Come and spend the weekend Roundwood Dell Campsite, Norwich and join us on Saturday afternoon for this event that we anticipate will be popular with both campers and people from the local area.

Priced at £35 per person for murder mystery afternoon with live actors and afternoon tea. Suitable for children aged 12 and over.

🎩Hats off to our single camper who braved the cold weather last night. Luckily whilst some of the county woke up to snow ❄️ we had none. We’re at the Norfolk Showground this weekend promoting the use of the campsite for Festival Weddings. You don’t need to be getting married or even celebrating a special occasion, we are always happy for groups to take exclusive use of the site.

We are looking to recruit a small number of cleaners to join our friendly team.

Daily cleaning of 2-3 hours is required 7 days a week. Tasks will include hoovering, mopping, dusting, and the cleaning of surfaces and toilets. The hours need to be completed before opening (8:30am) or after closing (9:30pm-1am depending on functions). During the winter, these will mainly be in and around the conference centre. In the summer, there will be additional hours across the site available as the campsite opens.

We are looking for individuals with an eye for detail and who take pride in their work. Experience is desirable but not essential. We require a degree of flexibility around hours and days worked to cover additional functions and staff holidays.

As employees of the company, you will be entitled to paid annual leave, uniform and have access to a company pension scheme.
