Last week we welcomed Helen Hayes (Shadow Minister for Children and Early Years) and Claire Hazelgrove (MP for Filton and Bradley Stoke).

Helen and Claire joined Busy Bees Bradley Stoke and the pre-school children for a sunflower planting activity. They also spent some time finding out about how Busy Bees gives children the best start in life. 🌟

Busy Bees Rugby had a heart-warming day as the pre-schoolers visited the babies and took part in some fun activities together! 🐝💕 The children enjoyed every moment of this special bonding time. 🥰

Buzz had an extraordinary week tagging along with one of our Busy Bees Little Sutton parents to work, and became a junior pilot for the day! Together, they jetted off from Gatwick to Marrakesh and back, exploring the skies and making memories along the way. ✈️🌍

This week, Chloe from the local dental practice visited the pre school children to talk about how we look after our teeth. 😄

The children had turns at brushing 'Dudley the Dogs' teeth, either with a manual toothbrush or a battery operate one.

Chloe held up pictures of health and not so health food and drinks and the children had to either 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down', depending on whether they thought it was health for our teeth or not. They were all very good at this activity and told Chloe they would look after their teeth, one child said he didn't want cavities! 🦷🥰

On Wednesday, the preschool children helped Megan our Chef to make our fruit salad for lunch!

This followed on from a member of staff who had to visit the dentist as she had a broken tooth! The children asked lots of questions about teeth and why we have to brush our teeth, the discussion then led on to eating healthy food. The children used their concentrations skills and their fine motor skills to join in as a team to make their fruit salad.😍
