Mundesley ladies had a league match against Sheringham today. Beautiful day and golf in great company. Result was a 3.5 - 3.5 tie.
Today’s match sees Mundesley league ladies secure promotion to league 3 with a game in hand. 3 promotions in past 4 years. Go Mundesley Girls!

A cracking day yesterday for our club to host the Norfolk Boys Championship 2024.

32 boys played in the championship from many different clubs across the county. A big thanks to all the officials and club staff involved with the organisation of the day, to Richard, Phil and Max for preparing the course in immaculate condition and to Steve and Rabbie for their hospitality behind the bar.

A special mention and well done to Max Cutting for winning the U18 Nett Trophy with a gross 75 nett 67 picture alongside Paul Ellis (Club Captain). Also a big congratulations to Theo Pudney for winning the Norfolk Boys Championship with a gross 69.

We have our new gas BBQ and the only person who should be the 1st to cook in it is our very own BBQ King Rabby 👊🍺👏🍔🍗

Mixed friendly 4BBB at Mundesley v Mattishall on Saturday. Home team won 3.5-1.5 Absolute pleasure to play on our course in excellent condition with the sun shining on us.

We're so proud of Harry Ling & Jacob Di-Lella - on the longest day, they played 100 holes around our lovely 9-hole course to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

The two keen golfers took 16 hours and more than 60,000 steps while going around the course 11 times plus an extra final hole.

The 22-year-olds have smashed their original target of raising £1000, having topped £1600 - but are still taking donations from people who want to support their stamina-sapping super-round.

Harry, an RNLI lifeguard from Mundesley, and upholsterer Jacob from Horsham St Faiths, who plays at the Wensum Valley course at Taverham, tackled the Big Golf Race challenge to raise awareness and funds for the cause.

They started at 4.30am and finished at 8.30pm. After the hundred-holer on his home course, Harry said: “Everything was fine for the first four and half rounds and I shot good scores, then it became a bit of a struggle. I lost power and got a bit confused about which clubs to take.

“But we are delighted with the result and glad we did it. We both suffered blisters on our feet, and the worst bit for me was getting up at 3.30am. The highlight was being joined by family and friends for a few holes on the way around.”

There was also a “nearest the pin” competition - which was won by Harry on the 97th hole, thanks to all the practice!

And the day after marathon ultra-keen golfer Harry was back out on the course for a friendly few holes with mum Sally, a long-standing member at Mundesley.

Then a few days later, to cap it all, he scored a hole-in-one on the 212-yard fourth hole.

Great day yesterday over at Mundesley Infant and Junior School.

Charlie and Rachael delivered 5 hours of tri golf coaching and saw over 100 very happy and enthusiastic children!! 🏌🏼‍♂️🏌🏼‍♀️⛳️
