I promise a Christmas range is coming… it’s just somewhat sloooowwww in progress but as every or knows everyday life comes first. And for me it’s been busy - two boys, a crazy kitten that’s the size full grown cat 🐈‍⬛, lots of general winter illnesses and germs hitting us one after the other, far too many early mornings, (why do boys wake at 6!!) and the anxiety of a much needed op and hospital stay for myself!! It’s all rightly pushed Poppy and Dave and Xmas right to the bottom of the pile!!

However, we have our Christmas tree up and I have a couple more days where P&D can be my focus!! I will soon upload a small range of cute handmade festive items to include a personalised baubles, personalised Santa keys, wooden and hand crafted bunting and decorations and a small range of beautiful festive personalised digital prints! 👏

The weather is not really feeling Autumnal 🍁🍂 but I’m getting into the spirit with some rustic crochet/knitted pumpkins.

They are taking me awhile to make, hindered by wrist and thumb pain, but I’ve I achieved my goal of made some before the 1st of October. That’s when pumpkin season starts … right???

Introducing Orla new friend - Otis Octupus. 🐙

A lovely little new arrival gift. I really enjoy making these and whilst they make a lovely decorative item for the nappy cake and nursery, the way each octopus is made means perfect little toy for young babies. The entire octopus is all one construction so no danger if legs coming loose! Face is embroidered on so no eyes to be a choking hazard. And I only stuff with child safe toy stuffing. The legs are brilliant for little hands to grab hold of and remind newer arrivals of the umbilical cord! I have it on good authority that these are a favourite among babies! thank Jude for reviewing!! 🤣

I also try to package each item up in pretty paper - recently investing in some foil stickers!

🐝 look at this cutie. Isn’t he fun! Made him for a friend but wandering if should add him to the Poppy and Dave product list?! 🐝 Would you buy one? Should I make them smaller for bag tags and keyrings? Or add him to tops of my macrame grow poles?!

Packing for camping- trialling a new approach. Roll each days clothes up in one sausage and boys can reach in and grab clothes for day. No need for me to hunt them out or unpack the wardrobe this trip!!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Been somewhat MIA on here lately but life has been getting in the way! Chicken pox, half term, more pox, work, garden, new DMI online course with , beavers, 2 demanding boys fed watered and exercised, more work, a bit of time to support a friend, less work and a lot of online learning, school, PTA summer fair, sunny days in garden and poor old P&D comes last ! 🙁

I am terrible at putting things in front. But whilst last week was particularly busy it taught me I can be productive when I apply focus!

So whilst this week hasn’t started to plan - sore throats and tiredness all round here! 😬 I do aim to put all my extra time into Poppy and Dave this week!

How lucky am I to have the cutest little niece! Can’t understand why she wasn’t a fan of her personalised birthday tee!! 🫣🤣

Hats off to first year gone and totally smashed this parenting malarkey. Managed to be a super supportive sister too! Sure that should of been other way round!🤦🏻‍♀️😘
