On the 30th of October we will be expanding our Keg range providing up to 12 lines! 🍻 at the same time our cellar is having a little bit of an overhaul. This means we have greater ability to rotate and bring in new exciting keg lines for you to enjoy 👍🏻
Bad News!
On the 30th of October we will have no draught products available but we will have some bottled soft and alcoholic drinks while the work is being under taken. Evening service should be unaffected and will resume as normal 😀
Food service will remain unaffected 👍🏻

Access to us from Wymondham and Norwich will be through the back of the village opposite Hethel engineering, those coming from Tacolneston way you should be fine 👍🏻😀
Our Autumn / Winter Menu will be starting in the first week of October this will be accompanied by our daily specials board 😃
Gen has been busy creating some more Korean specials for you to enjoy, these are hitting the menu today, our new autumn / winter menu is launching next week with some popular winter warmers making an appearance along with frequent daily specials. Our December menu will be finalised today this will be posted on our socials and our website over the coming days 👍🏻😃
Autumn is definitely knocking on the door, a time to wrap up warm for crisp autumnal walks and lazy afternoons spent in a warm pub with friends and family….a perfect addition to this is when you have a sloe gin in your hand that’s been harvested, 12 hour oak smoked and distilled within a few miles from our doors step. This small batch sloe gin is the unique creation of Rob from Ingleside Oak Smoked Sloe Gin something a bit different and we hope you will enjoy 🍷
You’ll need a good appetite for this special that’s made its way on to the menu! Half a Piri Piri Marinated chicken, 1/2 a rack of bbq pork ribs, chunky chips, onion rings, house salad topped off with creamy coleslaw.
Today is definitely a pub weather day! 🌧️ And one dish that is always popular when the temperature dips and the clouds roll in is our generous warming Steak and Ale Pie! This has been our signature dish for the last 15 years and it isn’t going anywhere soon! We’ve made all types of pies over the years but our S&A Pie is a firm favourite. Our chef’s make between 2500 and 3000 of these a year using quality locally sourced and farmed meat from Clarkes Butchery & Farm Kitchen 😊

Thank you to everyone that’s popped along to see us over the Summer, hopefully we will be blessed with a few more weeks worth of warm weather before Autumn starts knocking at the door 🙏🏻
Brian and the team are working on the Autumn and Christmas menus so do keep an eye out for these, one change we will be making on the Autumn menu is that we will be reducing the main menu slightly (keeping the favourites) and expanding our daily specials offering which will give you more choices for those that frequent us regularly 😃
One dish that is on the specials menu today is Gary’s Pan Fried Seabass served on braised fennel, wilted spinach, saffron infused mashed potato accompanied with a creamy white wine sauce. 😋
Steven has created a milk chocolate tart for the specials board today, this is served with a blood orange sorbet, a selection of fresh fruit and a crisp chocolate shard 🤤 if you’re dining with us over the weekend and have a hearty appetite look out for the “Meat Lovers Combo” 👀

We had a number of messages this week asking when the Korean Specials will make a return, well… Gen visited the local Korean supermarket in Norwich yesterday and good news they will be back on the specials board from this evening and over the weekend until they are sold out. 🫡 🥳
