Last week some of the Brandex team took part in Wensum Print Charity Football Tournament which raised money for Nelson's Journey. We had a fun-filled day in the sunshine, competing against lots of other local Norfolk businesses. We wanted to say a huge well done to our team, who placed fifth, as well as the other companies involved. We had a brilliant, and at times nail-biting day, for a good cause!

A behind the scenes peek of us capturing film content with the fantastic team at Beat Capital, at their office in the heart of the city in London. We can’t wait to see this employer brand campaign evolve and to help spread the word on why it’s so great to work at Beat.

We were delighted to be commissioned by global insurer Sompo International, to support two recent advertising campaigns in the US and Canada.

The first was to promote their attendance at RIMS Conference in Atlanta where we worked closely with the team to secure the perfect advertising placements for maximum exposure.

The bespoke animated creative was displayed on a network of digital screens throughout Atlanta airport, as well as a billboard spot in a major footfall area, complemented by a Google Search campaign to further increase awareness.

Norfolk celebrates The Queen's Platinum Jubilee To commemorate this historic milestone a series of events and initiatives will be held throughout Norfolk to celebrate the occasion.

Rosy Dive, Client Services Director, celebrates ten years of working at Brand Experience on 21 May this year.

Rosy joined us as a Client Services Executive in 2012 when she was a mere 20 years old and was a great asset to the team from the start. She progressed quickly to Client Services Manager – she’s a classic example of someone working her way up through the ranks and is now Client Services Director.

Her background was in event management, which gave her a good grounding in coping with the unexpected and reacting quickly to situations, plus something she’s been able to directly put to good use at Brand Experience on occasions, taking her to The Guildhall and Barcelona.

She’s conscientious, efficient, a fast learner, tech-savvy, has great attention to detail and an eye for design, empathetic, considerate of clients and supportive of her team, and is great fun to work with too. She instinctively ‘gets’ people and she understands great customer service.

It’s difficult to do Rosy justice in a few words, but she’s the best and we quite simply don’t know what we’d do without her!

Just a reminder that our team will be taking a short break over the upcoming bank holiday weekend, from Friday 15 April, returning on Tuesday 19 April.

Exciting news from us here at Brandex Group...we've just launched the official website for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Norfolk!

Our team have been beavering away behind the scenes for months so it's a great feeling to finally reveal the news and showcase the site in its full glory.

The website is a central resource to promote the tributes and events developed by the Platinum Jubilee Norfolk 2022 organising committee.

A Royal Salute – a musical celebration to be performed at the Royal Norfolk Show.

Jubilee Trails – four new walking trails are being developed around the county.

Jubilee Challenge Awards – an award scheme open to all rewarding those who are making a contribution to the Norfolk community.

We are also listing all the events happening around the county from the lighting of beacons to street parties and carnivals.

It's , the best flipping day of the year!

Thankfully our Norwich office is a stone's throw away from Christophes Crepes Norwich, so we know exactly where to head for our sweet fix. Starting out as a food stall in 2011, these guys opened their doors in the in 2020, and have (quite rightly!) continued to flourish ever since. We truly are spoilt for choice in terms of good food in Norwich, with an array of artisan and independent places to grab a bite.

That said, our London and Manchester offices are super close to some great food establishments that come into their own on pancake day, too. Aren't we lucky?!

The Breakfast Club, renowned for serving up their delicious dishes at multiple spots across London, never fails to perfect those fluffy, American-style pancakes that can be a real struggle to replicate in your own kitchen. And as for all things pancake in Manchester – despite being situated a little further out from our office in the Northern Quarter of the city – we'd opt for Alabama's every single time. Here, you can indulge in those whopping sweet stacks, but there are also a few savoury options for when you feel like something different.

Our team in were out and about exploring the Love Light Norwich festival last night, which is taking place at various locations across the city streets. Sadly it's closed today due to this bitter weather, but we recommend checking it out when it's safe to do so.

There's an array of dazzling installations, parades and projections right on our office doorstep, and it's wonderful to see our through a whole new perspective. Backed by VisitNorwich and Norwich Business Improvement District (BID), the festival celebrates local artistic talent, of which there is a great deal!

The exciting news and announcements just keep on coming at Brandex, with another new joiner, Bill Yelverton.

Bill joins Brandex Financial as an Account Director this month, where he will continue to work with clients that align with his interests in capital markets, asset management, and ESG transition. He's said that "FinTechs are changing the face of capital markets and asset management, and will be a catalyst for ESG transition. Brandex Financial is helping these firms grow and it is great to be part of the team."

Having worked in Financial Services for more than 25 years already – delivering sales, marketing and communications strategies for a range of clients, from global banks to FinTech start-ups, we are certain that his knowledge-bank and expertise will be invaluable. In recent years, Bill has worked with specialist consultancies and research firms looking at how technology is changing the world of financial services, aiding firms to define and effectively communicate their propositions – creating marketing strategies, and executing integrated communications plans that increase their impact and market presence.

In 2021, Bill studied sustainable finance at Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership and will harness this experience when advising clients in this space.

Describe yourself in three words...
Positive, enthusiastic and friendly!

Can you give us a brief career overview?
I’ve spent the last 20 plus years working in the tech, creative and digital industry in Manchester, in various business development and marketing roles – supporting this hugely growing sector, and building key relationships with its stakeholders. I have helped to shape the successes of the sector, which will definitely play a big role in Brandex Manchester's growth too.

Why do you love Manchester?
There’s so much rich history and many exciting prospects for the future in this city – but ultimately, it's the people that make it what it is.

What are you most excited about for Brandex MCR?
Helping some local businesses by showing them what we can do to achieve their future plans!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my two children, and I also coach and manage my son’s football team! I’m a keen runner and I try and raise money for a local community foundation called Forever Manchester.
