Garden Veg Collection 🪴
As if by magic, my collection is finally ready just in time for the festive season. I actually began working on the illustrations back in February, which seems a long long time ago now. New Veg Pouch 👩🏼‍🌾
I’ve hardly been on Instagram recently, which I suppose is a good thing! I’ve been working on some new products, ready for Christmas (I know). Also it’s been the summer holidays and after the last 18 months I’ve been determined to get out and help my kids to enjoy the real world, which basically means rainy camping! It builds character. Experimenting with Colours 🧐
Today I’ve been trying out a few different colourways for my neep print. I’ve previously done it in purple which looked good but was a little bit similar to things I’ve done before and I’m trying to expand my colour palette. I tried a few different colours but settled on this one. I’m going to turn it into a new tea towel and some paper prints.

Lemon Gift Wrap 🍋
My gift wrap adventure continues! Today I’ve been working on lemon wrapping paper. I began by screenprinting the outline and then playing with watercolours and pencil crayons to add some colour and texture. I’m really enjoying working on all this gift wrap, soon I’ll be able to scan it all in fiddle with it on a computer and send it off to the printers.

T-Shirts for Dandelion Education Ltd 🌼

My little friend is leaving her nursery for the big school 😭😭😭
So we decided to do our first collaboration, a dandelion T-shirt for the amazing people that work at her forest school. Together we created a design, drew and cut a stencil before printing in my parents garden. Teamwork!

Gingham♦️
I’m working on a number of new designs for gift wrap. It’s been a lot of fun but today I thought I should think outside the box and try something new. I thought I should have a go at trying to create my own version of gingham. I know I probably could’ve done this faster and more efficiently on I computer but I really want to make sure that there is a human element to my work, I think that is what makes it stand out from the crowd. Also to be honest I just love playing with paper and scissors. It’s been a really enjoyable exercise and I’m really happy with the results. Here’s to trying new things!

Watercolour Strawberries 🍓 🍓🍓
I’ve been doing a lot of experimenting this week, including this new strawberry print. I thought it might look nice with watercolours, also I just fancied having a go. I find it a really relaxing exercise. 😴 If you’d like me to paint one for you, send me a DM, they’re £90 unframed. 👍 🍓

Testing out a new Neep print 💜
I’ve been working on a few test prints of my newest veggie illustrations. It’s a good way to check out how the colours sit with each other. Eventually this will become a limited edition paper print, a tea towel and part of a new pack of postcards. I enjoyed printing this but I’m going to try it again, trial and error!

These are my allotment napkins. They are inspired by the wonky vegetables that my parents pull out of the ground on their Norfolk allotment. The original illustrations, line drawn by me, are screenprinted onto natural cotton and come in a lovely gift box tied up with string. I know is coming up, so if your mum has green fingers this could be the perfect gift for her.
