Couple of small jobs this week. To begin with, boxing in some water pipes in a property in Great Yarmouth.

Spanning the week but a really taking 3 days total this was a hard job without my buddy Ian Robinson-Cabinetry & Joinery helping me. As you can see from the photos the floor had risen in places due damp stuck in the laminate floor underneath and parquet floor underneath that. So I lifted the engineered oak flooring which was in good condition, removed the laminate and parquet. My client then checked the room for damp, satisfied there wasn't any I then layed a waterproof membrane, 18mm marine ply to take up the thickness, and then re layed the engineered oak and replaced the beading. My client now has a reasonably flat living room floor again.

Finally finished this staircase by installing the glass yesterday. From consultation, to drawing, to manufacture, to installation, both myself and Ian Robinson-Cabinetry & Joinery thoroughly enjoyed this project and my customer is over the moon with the final product. There will be a video at some point covering the entirety of this project.

Small job completed this week, bespoke oak kitchen shelving cabinet to match existing kitchen cabinets.

Due to a building project running behind schedule (Not on my part) I now have availability for projects from the beginning of November. I undertake a wide variety of timber, and sheet material based work. As well as general carpentry such as hanging doors, laying solid and laminate flooring. Staircases. Making and installing kitchens, and bedroom furniture. Through to antique restoration.
