Lynne Macleod and her horse, Hermes, will represent Great Britain at this years Working Equitation European Championships!

The Championships take place in the Czech Republic from the 19th to the 22nd of September. Lynne will be accompanied by Chef D'Equipe, Georgia Shone and this year's Team Trainer, Liz Diegutis.

Phew! The last couple of weekends have been massive for Working Equitation. Hartpury College and Aston Le Walls saw our biggest entries to date, over 50 competitors on two consecutive weekends! Thank you so much to all of the riders who came to both, it's a huge effort and we appreciate every single one of you, we hope we made it worth your while! As always the proudest moments for me are to hear the feedback after the show and especially from those who were coming to spectate for the first time, I had more than a few people come to me afterwards saying how fantastic and special the atmosphere and camaraderie is between all of the riders. This is something I have always believed is the key to keeping this sport unique. The senior development squad played a huge part in this in the 9 years it was running and it is so wonderful to see the Minis have now formed the same solidarity and team spirit in such a short space of time. In sport, passion and emotions run high at times, but Working Equitation is about healthy competition, good sportsmanship, friendship and fun, for everyone. We are a community, and we will always work hard to maintain and build on this as the sport grows.
I hope this photo brings a smile to the face of everyone who has played a part in this as a rider, judge, trainer, organiser or volunteer over the last 10 years!
One more national to go and then we have the finals! Can we beat our record? Entries open very soon!
