An amazing day out on the lake with James & William Keeler today which even meant a dip in the lake for me to retrieve a rod which got pulled in 😅.... but a solid session between us all and already planning our next day out before their summer holidays end. This two hour session will help you develop skills, whilst you can enjoy the sand between your toes, the sun on your face and sea air filling your lungs bringing you a combination of stillness for the mind and movement for the body.

I've been a little quiet online over the past month at but for good reason, because we've been so busy with the refurbishment at and planning some summer events too.
There have been some amazing developments at over the course of the past couple of months with a huge refurbishment including all new flooring throughout the gym, the upstairs area being converted into a small group class space and studio space with new matting for classes or members to use out of class timetables for stretching, mobilisation, core work or if you just wanted a quieter space for your session to focus on a particular new technique and some much needed headspace.
The gym layout has changed too giving us a much more fluid working environment for classes, enabling personal training sessions and members following their programming, not only creating more open mat floor space for classes and also our members to use outside of class times but a more efficient, & flowing workout too.
The gym has also been fully redecorated inside and out giving the whole gym all new fresh paint with still a few stages to go with regards to creating more space for our members and personal training clients
With an exclusive strong man area separate to the main gym in development & on the horizon to be used for medley events, or just your day to day programming with a squat rack, combi bench and deadlift platform in a separate dedicated area if you wanted to work on your sand bag pickups, log presses or to work on your stone to shoulder with the atlas stones anytime you want a dedicated space while attempting higher skill based and higher risk movements away from the main gym.
Steve & Kim have been working tirelessly to give you all the best gym experience and environment to work out in from all the specialist bars and equipment to the events and classes being offered with lots of help from many of yourself along the way.

Sunrise sea bass session with my good buddy .henshall wasn't a bad way to start the day at all! We were up and out by 1:00am on route to one of our marks which sadly didn't bless us today with any fish despite everything on paper looking perfect for it. But sometimes that's just how it goes, excited to get out again soon and have an unexpected red letter day and work towards setting a new personal best. It's been difficult with the conditions this season so far but will that come to change.....

Congratulations to William who was honoured with the Managers player trophy for his football team this season at their end of season awards ceremony last week! If he works as hard as he does in the gym during our sessions with his passion and willingness to progress and improve himself each and every session I know that it was throughly deserved! Amazing achievement William you should be very proud of yourself
Gym Dog...... we have a gym Dog..... meet newest team member Dave🫶🏻, he loves to play and will often be found working out his neck with the slam balls and will always come and say hi while you work out and give you the support you need.
Kim and Steve have recently given Dave a home, he's already the best part of my day and has settled in incredibly well just after a week.
We have made some modifications to the gym including a Dave proof gate for the front door, to keep him safe, so please make sure you close the gate behind you when you enter or leave and make sure to say hi and bye to our new and everyone's already favourite team member so feels really welcomed

Post unit runs for for his fitness testing today
Luna holding me up after a tough days work on the farm in the heat, was lovely to spend some time grooming the horses to help them shed their winter coats at Mayfield.
Some serious progress from since we began training together back in July 2023 we've just taken her latest measurements & progress photos and she's smashed them since her last ones taken four weeks ago she's been following her programming online via trainerize which has given her more focus discipline and motivation helping her to achieve her goals and sustain her progress.
Safe to say the Sarah Conor Chronicle programmes are doing their job for as she was looking shredded in the gym during her workout this evening! Some video clips of her mid session to follow
Jenna after smashing her four week fitness tests this week! She is now a total of 8.6kg down from our initial session back in late August, has just beaten all her fitness tests once again, improving on her chin-ups, full press-ups & plank as well as reducing her body fat and increasing her strength and muscle mass across her body. Jenna has also noticed her mental well-being has significantly improved with her training, enjoying a mixture of classes held at and personal training with amazing work .ansell

William is beyond his years in his approach to his training, constantly wanting to improve his technical capabilities and performance both in the gym and in game situations. He's had some great performances and feedback from his coaches who have encouraged him to keep up with his strength training after helping his team secure a 7-0 win last weekend with a solid role as right back in defence.
William noted how strong he felt during the game and how the exercises and weight training over the past weeks has helped with his performance from his sprinting through too being able to make solid challenges and keeping calm and collected and hold his ground against much bigger players from the opposition that try to get the better of him on game day.

Rolling with these two total gangsters on the mats this afternoon was special. What an absolute pleasure getting to attend two seminars on butterfly guard & back attacks yesterday followed by rolls with the team, & feeling very lucky on the back of a great completion last weekend followed by madness witnessed on the mats this week.
Now time to digest some of what I've learnt and start implementing some to my game. ibjjf

It was an absolute privilege to get to attend both seminars today put on at I can't wait to start drilling what we've been taught from today already and start applying them into my game, mind blown.
