Site Supervisor required on a full time basis for a leading geotechnical company who provide a wide range of services to the industry.

Ideally living around the Coventry area, they are looking to recruit a site supervisor. They would like the supervisor to hold SSSTS, Slinger Signaller and Lift Supervisor tickets, and be open with regards to working on various parts of their divisions including pile testing, site investigations and monitoring.

Working around the HS2 site initially but you will work nationwide as and when required managing static load testing teams.

The related to the Tower Area Work Activity implemented by for the City Tower 1 project consist of

- Construction of a Preliminary Test pile within the proximity of Tower

- Construction of 116 nos piles with a diameter of 1500mm & 1800mm to a drilling depth around 69.5m from the original ground level.

- 10% of the piles has been undergone for Caliper Logging and Sonic Logging Test to ensure the diameter and quality of constructed pile’s concrete respectively throughout the pile length.

- 5% of the piles have passed-thru Dynamic pile test load to prove the capacity of the pile as per designed.

- 1% of the total piles per pile diameter has been selected for Static Load Test with a test load of 75975kN.

- Construction of Internal Shoring for Lift Pits, using the methodology of contiguous piles.

- Bulk Excavation and cart-away for 11m height of hard soil

JUNIOR CONTRACTS ENGINEER REQUIRED - PERMANENT ROLE

My client is a foundations specialist with over 30 years experience in the market. They are looking for a hard working junior contracts engineer to work with them on a permanent basis on piling projects throughout the UK.

Working across all sectors of piling techniques including continuous flight auger, large diameter/rotary bored and mini piling/ground anchors and soil nailing, you will be given a wide variety of projects to work on to build on your knowledge and experience.

The client is willing to take applications from engineers just out of university or a college leaver as they have a structure in place to assist you in developing the next step of your career.

You will ideally be based in the South East area, however the client is willing to discuss the roles with all suitable applications regardless of location. A driving license is essential for the role as you will be site and office/home office based, and will be required to travel as and when required and stay away from home occasionally.

You will be required to set up projects, organise contract files, CAD work (further training on CAD work is offered if needed), visit sites and assist the construction teams with all contract related issues.

Package -

You will be offered a generous starting salary with lodge payment for days you will be working away from home.
