You’ll find this brand new class, across both West Bridgford & Hockley timetables.
It’s something that is so incredibly important, but so easily overlooked. Putting something back into your pot, which is mostly just constantly depleted by the world around you.
It’s necessary for nervous system health, sleep quality, can help to prevent injuries & aids in endless physical & mental repair, which is boosted by a drop in inflammation, stress levels & blood pressure.
So why do we avoid it, when it’s so needed? Mostly because it’s difficult to do things for ourselves, until we’re faced with illness.
Our Deep Rest classes incorporate Restorative Yoga, followed by Yoga Nidra (similar to NSDR).
You’ll find it in West Bridgford on Wednesday evening (tonight!) with Liv at 7.15pm & in Hockley with Kat at 6.30pm.

I started Roar to share yoga, breathwork & different health related modalities, because of how much they’d helped me in & through difficult times. How much they continue to help me. I wanted to be able to shine that light for others, because I have learnt firsthand, that health is THE most important thing.
I’m incredibly grateful to be able to share something that’s so important. I’m grateful to everyone who comes to classes & who generally engages. I’m grateful for ideas & support.
I’m incredibly thankful to the people who share these practises & who make a difference in others lives. My aim in the next year is to help & support you more, because that can so easily be forgotten. I don’t forget & I see you all ❤️

This block is running on Saturday’s at 10.45am & will be run by Tamsin. Tamsin is a fountain of knowledge, as she had a mild addiction to learning & has done many trainings! She is a really lovely human too & will welcome you with authenticity & buckets of empathy.

We’re adding some 7.30am 45 minute classes to the weekday timetable & we’ve changed the weekday morning classes from 9.30am to 9.15am.
The weekend times won’t be changing, so the 8.15am & 9.30am on Saturday will be staying the same.

Morning All, it’s Kate 👋🏻
International Women’s Day brings around a lot of gratitude for me. Gratitude to every women who has gone for what they wanted & fought for what they wanted.
They have trailblazed a path for all to follow & allow us to stand on the shoulders of giants.
Women before me, inspired me to push myself out of my comfort zone & allow myself to do & be more. To believe that I can.
The pictures above depict my elation after I signed the lease on the current studio, which was 3 years ago today. I cried through sheer disbelief about 10 minutes later!
As I stand on the edge of expanding, I have the same trepidation & internal challenges, but all I need to do is come back to myself & my self belief, which is made up of hundreds of women who have come before me & also all of the women who surround me now.

This one is going to tick a box for SO many of you.
This class is for total beginners to pilates, for those who are coming back from injuries & are worried about which class to go to (but you know more than ever that you have to move). For those who the doc has suggested you start Pilates & for the older generation who need to move it before you lose it (or bring it back).
This is a 45 minute class at 5pm every Wednesday led by our resident Pilates legend, Katie.

Qigong & Breathwork - every Tuesday morning at 9.30am.
Join Louisa for this gentle Qigong and breathwork experience, designed to soothe mental tension and relieve stress in the body.
This grounding class focuses on gentle Qigong inspired movements combined with balancing breath and meditation.
This is a great class for re-balancing your nervous system, regular stress management & community.
