Nottingham City Council still wish to close the Victoria Market by the end of the Financial year which is April 2025.
They have again said they will speak to us all individually in the next 4-6 weeks.
So BUISNESS OPEN AS USUAL.
Monday to Saturday 9.30 till 5.00.

A bizarre run of coincidences ending today after watching a chap on YouTube

Called the Wandering turnip who travels around Uk City Centres to show the changes that have happened and the demise of the high street, he turned up on Monday filming in the Victoria Market.
Out walking our dogs tonight a chap in the petrol station shouts over to us hey do you work in the Victoria centre ?

VICTORIA MARKET UPDATE
There still seems to be a lot of confusion on the market closure thanks to some inaccurate reporting in the media since the announcement in early December was made.
So just to clarify Nottingham City Council have made absolutely no contact with the Traders in the market since the announcement was made.
They cannot just Close it overnight or next month like many think.
Nottingham City Council still hold a
49 year lease in the market, they are liable for this even if they close the market.
The only way they can close it is by Trader negotiations & agreement which obviously has not even been started.
We will keep you updated as soon as we have any further information.
In the meantime what can you do to help ?
