On Monday 28th October, the Prime Minister announced that the current £2 Bus Fare Cap will increase to £3 from 1st January 2025 until the 31st December 2025.

Over the last two year’s, had the cap not been in place, fares would have increased to cover for operating costs including staff, insurance etc.

CT4N like all bus operators across the UK are waiting on further information and how much we will be allocated from the Department for Transport and will advise of all details in due course.

Service Update - Maid Marian Way
Further to the delays experienced in Nottingham on Tuesday 8th October, CT4N are issuing the following update.

Service Update

Issues in Nottingham City Centre are causing delays to services entering and exiting the City Centre via Tollhouse Hill due to the new road layout.

Delays are being experienced of over 45 minutes for which we apologise.

Former Nottingham city centre roundabout switches to T-junction The £8.97m project sees the Maid Marian Way island in Nottingham replaced.

We're making Queens Drive and Meadows Way safer by adding new crossings, two toucan crossings on Queens Drive and a pedestrian zebra crossing and parallel crossing for cyclists on Meadows Way

Enabling works have begun this week and traffic will be managed around the site by temporary two-way traffic lights and some parking spaces suspended in order to create a safe working area for the four-week duration.

A road closure is required on Meadows Way between Ainsworth Drive and Crossgate Drive to install ducting and create a raised crossing platform between Monday 21st and Friday 25th October.

Customer Update - Medilink

Medilink is unable to serve Wilkinson Street between 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday 9th September for two weeks due to resurfacing works.

During these works, Medilink will operate via The Ring Road only.

Nearest stop to Wilkinson Street will be Nuthall Road.

Medilink will not serve the following stops:

❌ Leonard Avenue (Hucknall Road)
❌ Monsall Street (North Gate)
✅ Futurist will be served in Basford

Good News for Service 18 customers.

Town Street has now re-opened.

All buses return to normal route from first bus Friday Morning.

Long Eaton Carnival is taking place today with the annual parade commencing from 11.00 until 13.30.
During these times Service 29 will be subject to diversions as the carnival moves through Long Eaton.

Service 18 Update
We have been advised that contractors working on the collapsed wall at Town Street/Devils Bend in Bramcote is progressing well. Indication’s are that the works will be completed mid to late June.
Once we have further details, we will advise accordingly.

To maintain a reliable and punctual service during the long-term roadworks planned for the Queens Medical Centre A52 roundabout, Medilink will operate as two separate services:

Medilink 1
• Operating between Queens Medical Centre and City Hospital

Medilink 2
• Operating between Queens Drive P&R and Queens Medical Centre

Over the next few weeks, you will notice some changes taking place at your bus stop.

We have reported any broken or damaged bus shelters along the route to be repaired.
