I’ve been quiet on social media as I’ve been busy transforming some gorgeous rooms by bringing new life to furniture. This is a selection of work to give you an idea of what can be done, I need a post it note on my forehead though to remind me to take more pictures 🙄

These window seats are going to add so much to the clients kitchen

A more tailored effect with no pleat or frill. This perfect little chair is now covered in a fabric to match the client’s sofa. It has arm caps and a loose seat cushion which means a quick wash of these items and the chair looks fresh and clean.

I have a few cushion covers made from vintage Sanderson fabric with a soft, luxurious velvet frill available.
They vary in size and price from £35. These fabrics are becoming very rare and difficult to find making the cushions even more special.

These fabrics are by Tori Murphy, a fabulous local designer I work with. Everything is made and woven in England, they really are a dream to use. I love the yellow and the interest in the mix and match.

This headboard feels like a brand new piece of furniture, plain and simple fabric with a piped edge, it’s covering a blue velvet buttoned original which is still perfect underneath its new cover. Easily removed for cleaning and using approximately 1mt of fabric. The making prices very dependent on size, shape finish etc from £50

There are some very exciting outdoor fabrics available online, I’ve worked with most of these, they all looked fabulous made up and are perfect to update and refresh garden furniture.

This client chose a soft linen fabric to transform her dining chairs adding so much light to her gorgeous kitchen/dining room ( not shown, this is my grimey floor 😀)
An average price with fabric to achieve this look would be between £60-£80 per chair, unless of course you have some fabric lying around or access to some remnants, it’s always difficult to give prices here as so much is changeable, this chair cover is quite structured with piping and a pleat, other options take less making time. Everything is bespoke, many choices and decisions to be made. I’m more than happy to help you.

Duck egg blue and white stripe seat pads are great way to add comfort for outdoor/indoor dining. The design is the right size for most kitchen and garden chairs. Made from pre washed cotton with a foam filling, each seat pad makes a comfortable addition to any chair. Finished with smart piped edges and an on trend handle it suits every style of dining. The fabric isn’t water resistant.

I’ve created some one off items from fabrics that inspire me when I happen across them at fairs and sales etc. My aim was Etsy however life is taking over, so rather than sit on these any longer I’ll be uploading on here. It’s lovely to work with floral fabrics especially something traditional, they always bring back memories of past work, houses, clients.

So simple yet such an impact, these cushions are for a canal boat, I can’t wait to see them in place.
