Small job completed for a local plumber who swapped a bath out for a shower for an elderly couple. Quick in an out job. Tanked with .benferuk hydroban and tiled out with tiles supplied by . We do loads of large scale projects but it’s just as important to provide a reliable service to your local community.

A couple of chevron marble splashbacks completed for this week. The marble against the micro cement from looking 🔥. The small utility splashback is framed with brushed brass trims to give it extra pop with floating shelves and LED lighting.

🐈 Kit-Kat 🐈 mosaics tiles looking Sharp

For anyone who’s followed me for a while you may remember this belter of a@floor we did over 3 years ago. Well we are back this week to do the bathroom and it’s going to be another stunner. It’s a small space but some really nice details going into it. Bathroom prepped with tanking, underfloor heating, and levelling compound. Also put a skim coat of adhesive over the tanking as we are going with some Kit-Kat mosaics so it needs to flat! Only downside to tanking is that it can give an otherwise flat surface ridges where the tape is applied. Larger tiles it’s not an issue but with a small mosaic tiles you need it flat.

Ditra Heat Duo across all bathrooms for .

Whilst there are many electric under floor heating carrier Mats on the market, I don’t believe there’s another one like Ditra Heat Duo. This matting a little thicker but has a fleece backing. As well as all the normal benefits of heat carrier Mats such as, uncoupling, cable carrying, waterproofing, the Duo also offers thermal and sound insulation making it perfect for bathroom floors above living spaces.

Next one underway for . Wet room waterproofed with Kerdi system. We are running a curb detail on all wet rooms on this project which will look 🔥

4 tiles short meaning we will drop back on this next week to finish off the last bits but other than that it’s ready for second fixing.

I spy 👁️ 🚐

1200x600 tiles always tricky in small spaces. We chose to turn the tiles in the wet tray area to limit pieces. We also added in a black trim divider for that added 🔥.

Another job underway. Wet area tanked out, loose cable for this one and levelling compound to protect those cables.

First of many bathrooms underway for . On this project we have 7 bathrooms to do and lots of large flooring areas. We are running waterproofing and Ditra Duo heat through all the bathrooms. The vast majority will be wet rooms but this one is the only traditional shower tray style bathroom on the property. .
