‘The Hepburn’ Room & Ensuite.

With wall to wall windows and views of the Trent Valley countryside from every room, The Hepburn Room takes full advantage of the proximity to its natural surroundings. Guests can walk undisturbed from one end of the room to the other and admire the beautiful countryside, in full privacy. The room also has a private terrace, where guests can relax to take in the views.

The room is Light and airy with a luxury en-suite bathroom including a whirlpool spa whirlpool bath bath and a Rain Forest Shower.

Reflecting on the past!

The first five images were taken 19 years ago, before the construction of the magnificent Horspool we know today. These images capture buildings dating back to 1816 and various derelict outbuildings that were combined to create 10,000 square feet of luxury. It’s clear that our owners, Tina and Jamie, have a passion for ambitious projects!

The last five images were taken in 2007, right after nearly two years of challenging construction. During the process, we discovered hidden rooms and overcame numerous obstacles. Horspool served as a home for three years before Unique Body & Soul was conceptualized—an idea born while relaxing on a beach in Mauritius. This was our original name before Horspool Retreat was born.

We are planning to create a more in-depth history wall in our new welcome centre, once built, to showcase Horspool’s journey over the years as it evolved into Nottinghamshire’s finest mansion accommodation.
