Congratulations to all the winners of awards at the School Challenge awards last week at the conference center in Nottingham. With nearly 1,000 entrants into the mini marathon it is an integral part of the event and we wish all the winners a heartfelt cheer!

We are often left humbled by stories surrounding runners at The Robin Hood Half Marathon and we are always so grateful for those who give of themselves to make the day happen. When looking for a photo to inspire for National Do Something Nice Day we came upon Steve King here who will be our inspiration for the 2023 Do Something Nice Day this year. A camaraderie and community we see every time we race... enough said...

Occasionally someone pulls something out of the bag for us and we wanted to give an extra shout out to Susan and Rob seen here who collected a massive group of volunteers at zero notice late on Saturday night, filling a critical hole left by a last moment dropout.

Thank you both and the wonderful group of volunteers who made such an impact on the day and brought order to the start funnel
