With Spring now well underway, we just wanted to look back to the end of March and say a huge THANK YOU to all the amazing volunteers at our Spring Food Drive!

We collected an astounding 180kg of food to help provide 429 meals across the Midlands, this brings our total this year up to 404kg!

Back for this semester: we will be running another food drive at the end of the month to collect food for a local food bank, fare share! We will be doing two days in lenton- on in the drives, and one in the triangle!

Big sleepout will be on March 16th (weather dependant) to fundraise for a local charity support homelessness. Should you want to support, you will be sleeping OUTSIDE (yes!) on campus!

With exam season now underway, we just wanted to look back to the end of last term and say a huge THANK YOU to the amazing volunteers at our Christmas food bank collection.

We collected a whopping 224kgs of food to help provide 533 meals across the Midlands! This is a massive achievement that we are so proud to have facilitated, all whilst reducing food waste in our local student community.

Keep a look out for our Easter collection for another opportunity to take part, give back to the local community, and even get stars for your society!

2023 marked the 100th year of the University of Nottingham having a raising and giving society! Happy holidays!!
As we approach the end of 2023, we are so happy with all the amazing work accomplished this year- and we are even more excited for what next year has in store! We wanted to wish everyone Happy Christmas and new year, and we are so excited to get started again in January- however in the meantime hope that everyone enjoys a restful break!

Next week we are running a FOOD BANK COLLECTION! We will be meeting outside of:
📍Avocafe, 1 Park St, Nottingham, NG7 1RR.
We will be going around to collect food from houses in Lenton to give back to our community before the holiday season!
Don’t worry about coming for the whole time too- if you are only able to come later, make sure to message us and we can find the best place to meet!

- Meningitis Research Foundation - last remaining places for the TCS London Marathon 2024. As one of the World Marathon Majors and the world's biggest fundraising event, the London Marathon is on many people's bucket lists.

On Wednesday we ran a food bank collection in the student area of Nottingham for FareShare UK. If you’re a student from University of Nottingham there’s a good chance us and our team of volunteers came knocking on your door asking for donations, and wow, did you deliver!

Thanks to the generosity of people living in Lentons we were able to collect 400 kilograms of food for such an amazing cause.

A HUGE thank you to Muhammad for organising it all, the UoN Community Engagement team for helping us advertise and run the collection, and all the AMAZING volunteers from Nottingham Karnival, the and who braved the cold to knock on doors and collect donations from the community. You are all so inspirational!
