We are looking for a chef to help us to develop and deliver our brunch menu from Thursday to Sunday. If you know anyone who could be interest, point them in our direction! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Who needs a gingerbread latte this morning!?!? Especially one that comes with a house baked gingerbread man!!!

Come and join us for a festive cupcake decorating workshop on Wednesday 13th December at 6:30pm- 9pm

£40pp for X12 vanilla cupcakes in 2 x6 boxes.

Throughout the workshop you will:
🧁Decorate 12 vanilla cupcakes
🧁Learn how to colour buttercream using oil food colouring
🧁 Learn a variety of piping techniques and how to use those piping skills on the cupcakes
🧁 Receive a gift bag to take home which will includes a Christmas baking apron, a sample pack of Christmas themed oil food colouring, a 4 set of piping nozzles and a recipe card for the vanilla cupcakes and buttercream.
🧁 Choose from a hot drink or glass of mulled wine with a mince pie.

We love our rums and interesting spirits at Philos!

The sad thing about the drinks industry is that a lot of the time the little brands that are completely fantastic and really reasonably priced don’t get seen.

Enter the Philos drinks cellar! An ever evolving and changing range of spirits and wines that you may not have heard of before that are completely brilliant.

On the shelves at current we have 3 fantastic rums from including the all new red banana oleo.

We have two brilliant rums from

A classic Italian limoncello from along with their wonderful aperitivo which is a brilliant alternative to aperol

A wonderful gin from Latvia with lovely rosemary notes kept in a clay bottle which breathes and ages the gin over time.

A party can’t be a party without Tequila! That’s why on shelf we have the wonderful .rojo blanco tequila. A great entry brand into the agave world.

Finally a wonderful floral Italian liqueur for those that love a slightly different spritz of long drink with tonic.

All of these are great gifts or brilliant for treating yourself at home.

From next Monday you’ll be able to order the following brunch items to eat in or take away!

🍌Warm banana bread with Greek yoghurt, seasonal fruit drizzled with honey.

🍓 Granola bowl - Greek yoghurt, crunchy granola, seasonal fruit drizzled with honey.

🐟 Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with lemon and cracked black pepper.

🐷 The Philo Bacon Sandwich - crispy bacon with tomato chutney on sourdough.

🍞Sourdough toast with butter and a choice of jam, marmalade or honey.

🥐 A selection of pastries baked every morning here at Philos.
