As a regional electrical training centre, we stock all genuine IET, and other electrical text books for our wide range of courses. We sell at cost price only as we know a full suite of genuine reference books can be very expensive.

If in doubt, purchase directly from the IET website, or a reputable retailer.

What is continuous professional development (CPD) training?

Essentially it’s keeping yourself up to date with knowledge and skills you need to ensure you’re at the top of your game as an Electrical Engineer.

As an Electrical Engineer it’s obvious you’d be expected you’d keep up to date with say the wiring regulations and undertake a formal exam if needed. Aside from formal qualifications, CPD can also be informal like webinars or skills refresh.

At Training In Electrical, aside from our formal courses, we offer bespoke cost effective CPD training. We currently deliver CPD training to a multitude of businesses and on an individual basis.

Examples are:

- Safe isolation, single and 3-phase
- Amendment 2 Wiring Regulations
- Health & Safety
- PAT
- Inspection and Testing – initial verification & periodic level
- EV charging

Upon attendance, candidates receive a certificate of completion which can be used to add to your CPD record.

If you, or your colleagues are due to undertake CPD, and would like to discuss your requirements please either DM us or pop into the centre for a chat.
