Successful applicants can enjoy between 25-30 hours per week alongside generous staff discounts and flexible working hours.

Lee's faithful mutt Pickles is very pleased to invite you to join Velo Verde's 'Dog of the Month' competition!

As you may know, our faithful friends are now welcome to join you for a cuppa and bite to eat in our heated and covered outdoor area.

The next time you join us, make sure you take a pic of your canine companion and tag us on social media

Pickles will randomly choose a winner at the end of every month who will not only achieve fame on our CVV insta and FB pages but will also win a FREE cuppa and cob for their owner!

Our Official Spectator Location for Outlaw Nottingham!😆

Our friends over at will kindly be opening their car park for spectators as we expect cyclists to be passing through from 7:30 - 14:00! The cafe will be serving from 9:00, perfect for breakfast! ☕🥐

If you’re out and about on Sunday 28th July supporting a friend or family member in the Outlaw Triathlon why not pop into CVV for some refreshments!

We’re just off the cycle route so in a great location to cheer on your nearest and dearest or to simply soak up the atmosphere.

On Friday 26th & Saturday 27th July we will be open 5.30pm until late serving a selection of drinks and nibbles.

To celebrate this brand new venture, acoustic duo Larkin Road will be joining us on the Friday to provide a little background music to sip your bevvies to.

Lee has had a super busy but highly enjoyable first week at Caffe Velo!

He’s loved meeting all the regulars and is finding his feet with the invaluable support of Vini by his side.

Thank you to everyone for helping him settle in and feel so welcome 🙏

BIG NEWS……

Meet Lee. At some point on Monday 29th April Lee will become the new owner of Caffe Velo Verde. He’s a great guy with a lot of experience who loves CVV as much as we do. We’re sure he’s going to take CVV from strength to strength and we wish him all the best of luck.

And from us to all of you, our loyal customers and followers, some old, some new, many of whom have become friends. We thank you for all your support over the past 4+ years. Through rains, snow, floods, lockdowns, and gale force winds, you’ve supported us. Over the years you’ve ridden ‘gravel’, searched for the golden pumpkin, ridden for pasta, paella and Belgian beer, been mad in the middle of May and joined us for wine tasting. Many of you proudly wear your CVV merch promoting us wherever you go. But most importantly you come every week making everything that we do worthwhile. We’ve been proud to develop CVV into what it is today and we’ll always be grateful to our customers for making our journey such a success.

Our staff have been brilliant, thank you to them, they are a great team who have always been on board with whatever we’ve wanted to develop, and they are all staying on to work with Lee.

For us…. This weekend will be our last as owners. Vini will stay on with Lee for a while after that to ensure a smooth transition. We will run for the summer, but our main focus will be on future our travel plans. And you will catch us at CVV as customers from time to time (where else would we go for a decent coffee anyway?).

CVV will remain a cycling cafe. We’re excited for its future and we hope you are too.

The CVV coffee trailer has had a name change! For those of you who don’t know, Gregario is the Italian version of a Domestique and we will be serving our great coffee at all sorts of events this season.

We are delighted to be an official cafe stop for the Outlaw Half in May, which will come right past our front door! To celebrate we have a small number of bidons to give away to our customers this weekend.
And the other happy news is that this means we will get some potholes repaired! 🥳
