What a fantastic gig last night from Smokestack Blues Band rounding off our summer rock season. Huge thanks to all the bands and to everyone who came to see them, it's been great!

TOMORROW FROM 5PM!
The last session in our Summer Rock series is tomorrow 31st August. We've already seen 3 fantastic acts and our finale will be no less marvellous with the mighty Smokestack Blues Band! With the nights drawing in now they'll be starting at 6pm. The garden bar will be open at 5 as usual so don't miss this last chance for live music in Exton this summer!

August 31st will see the last of our Summer Rock series and this one is going to be another belter! Bringing all your favourite blues / rock tunes and a few more besides, Smokestack Blues Band will have the garden jumping!
Please note that as the evenings are beginning to draw in we'll be starting a little earlier than previously - garden & bar open at 5.00pm, with the band on from 6.00pm. DON"T MISS THIS!

PROGRAMME CHANGE
With apologies from both the band and ourselves, Manky Beds are unable to play this evening due to illness. However we're absolutely delighted to confirm at such sort notice that one of the very best entertainers in the East Midlands and South Lincolnshire will be playing tonight. A favourite of Extonburys past, fantastic vocalist / guitarist C J HATT will be on the bill from 7pm to bring us the best in pop, rock and maybe a bit of soul. He's always incredibly busy so please don't miss this chance to hear him do his thing!

This Saturday!

Just over two weeks until our third Summer Rock session and what a cracker it will be. Celebrating the second anniversary of the release of their "Live at Extonbury" album, Manky Beds return to Exton with two blistering sets covering huge ground, from Oasis to The Animals, from Snow patrol to The Killers, from Feeder to...well you know how this goes. Featuring Exton's own Gary Tyler on bass and vocals, this is one Saturday evening not to miss!

Don't forget part two of Summer Rock in the Garden is on tomorrow! Garden open at 5pm, come & join us for a great evening with the hardest rocking acoustic band you'll ever see!

It's looking like a sunny weekend so why not book a table for lunch or maybe enjoy a drink in the garden? And while we're on the subject of the beer garden here's the next in our Summer Rock series coming up in just three weeks!

Fantastic first gig of our summer season - huge thanks to Dazed & Confused for some great music and to everyone who came.

We have three more summer events coming for you on the last Saturday of each month. Next up is the fabulous Out Of The Blue, long standing favourites at Extonbury with their own acoustic versions of the best pop and rock hits of the last few decades. Acoustic bands shouldn't rock out like this band! See them on Saturday 29 June.

It's a lovely day! Great time to remind you all that the first in our summer season of rock and blues in the beer garden is just a week away. The garden bar will be open from 5pm, and we'll have festival burgers & bangers plus vegan options from the barbecue available from 6pm. Then from 7pm we rock out with Dazed & Confused, bringing us the best in 70s and 80s hits including a few we've probably not heard for a while! Entry is free so please join us for a fantastic evening in the garden.

Please note that the pub will be closed for lunch to allow us to concentrate on bringing you all a great evening's entertainment.

So the sun came out at last for an hour or two this afternoon & suddenly it was lovely and warm! Can't wait for summer weekends and our season of the best local bands playing in the garden. We're kicking off with this lot - more news a bit nearer the time!

Enormous thanks for the fantastic support over the Easter weekend. We have a whole summer of events planned featuring the best live bands in our area playing in the beer garden, accompanied by the outdoor bar and barbecue with our own Greek twist. More on that in the weeks to come, meanwhile we seem to be all set for a warm and sunny weekend, so why not join us for Saturday lunch or dinner, or Sunday lunch out on the deck?

Our full programme of summer rock - save those dates!

Following my post a couple of weeks ago about the summer rock season at The Fox and Hounds I'm delighted to confirm that the programme for the summer is now complete with a fourth gig by the mighty OUT OF THE BLUE on 29 May. That means we have a brilliant band on the last Saturday of every month from May through to August. It's been impossible to fit in all the marvellous local bands who would have loved to play for you but the four we have booked are absolute crackers. Out Of The Blue are quite probably the hardest rocking acoustic band in the East Midlands, if not the UK. They're veterans of many Extonburys and always go down a storm. Don't miss them - further info from the pics and the band links, and events soon to be posted on the pub page!
