What are your plans for today? I'm waiting for the gas engineer to come today as I have no hot water and I'm hoping to nip out and buy some wool, not that I really need anymore 😆 😂

I was asked the other week if I could do my mandala card as a set in an underwater theme and of course the answer was of course. That sounds really fun. Now I know the customer has received them I can show them off

Who feels like we're already in the colder months? I certainly do. Though I’m excited for Halloween and then Christmas so I can have all my pretty lights out and on

Today's the day for the VSMS Markets & Events Maker's Market in Burnley market hall so of course to start my day I sleep in!

I need to get my stuff packed up and make sure I've got everything I need for setting up.

Do you remember my Halloween garland? Well it looks rather different now. Apparently I wasn't satisfied and needed to do something extra. And, luckily, I finished just in time to take it with me today!

I also finished the Christmas garland too. Thankfully, so both need to be packed up today

Did you know that bananas are slightly radioactive? Due to being rich in potassium, they contain the naturally occuring isotope potassium-40.
They're perfectly safe though as any excess potassium-40 you gain from a banana is excreted out within a few hours.
Plus you already have around 280 times more radioactive than a banana already. So a little extra won't hurt

Do you like bananas? I only like them in banana bread 😂 I'm not a fan of the texture. I prefer an apple or pears.

Do you have any plans for today? I'm hoping the headache I went to bed with last night isn't bothersome today as I have a fair but to get done today plus my brother is coming across so I can show him how I make my stew and I'm also having an hour out to catch up with a friend.

It’s the Harvest Moon Festival today so I thought I would show off my hand drawn, colour-your-own moon mandala card... and the rest the cards so far too 😆

I had a request for 4 under the sea ones and I cant wait to show them off once they've been recieved

Well I finally figured out how to photograph the Halloween bunting! Yay! 🎉📸 I'm still working on the Christmas one but I'm hoping to have it finished today so I can get working on my cards for the weekend's market. 🎄🎁

They are £15.00 if you would like one for yourself and roughly measure 65cm in length. The characters stand between 6 and 10 cm in height. They are made to order though so there will be a lead time for them, which will be about a week.

The bunting can be done with varying characters or you can request all of the same characters. Additional characters will be charged at £3.00 each.

What are you all up to today?

I got the halloween garland done last night and I've started making a Christmas one. I’ve got new fineliners and a new compass coming today that'll hopefully allow me to use the pen when making the circles instead of trying to copy the lines for them.

I now have to try and figure out how to photograph garlands. Does anyone have any ideas? I have no idea 🤷‍♀️

What are you up to today? I'm hoping to be able to finish off the Halloween garland today amd maybe even make a start on the Christmas one as I have a market next Saturday in Burnley.

We went to the park for a few the other day and tried to make the trip a teachable moment for the youngest. I asked him if he knew why the tree was different colours to be told it "maybe its planning some thing evil!" End of the teachable moment as I was too busy laughing 😂😂😂

I'm hoping to spend the day crocheting seeing as I've been up since 4 the wool is already out. I'm currently reworking on a ghost that I can put eyes in. I'm determined to have a halloween garland made for the market next weekend

I thought this fun fact was fitting for the fact that I did notice that some trees are beginning to change their colours already.

I spent yesterday crocheting a pretty pumpkin that I was going to stitch the eyes on to and...well...now it's a cyclops pumpkin and I have ordered safety eyes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sometimes being a crafter is about learning from your mistakes and doing it the right way in the end. No more stitching eyes for me.

I got to spend some time yesterday with my music speaker and my playlist while the youngest was at his sports session which I very much needed while getting some cleaning done

While my playlist played on shuffle I was once again reminded that I have a very varied taste in music 🤣 death metal to pop and, almost, everything in between! 🤣 I just don’t like much R’n’B. I do enjoy a bit of classical music too.

What are your plans for the month? Do you have anything big planned? I’m hoping to get some new products out for Halloween and Christmas so I need to get on with those. I'm hoping to do a market or two as well.

Other than that it’s home eduction planning and lots of day trips out and lots of sorting out to get done.
