Good Friday open 8 till 12.30pm
Easter Sat 7 till 2pm then done till Tuesday.
Knitted chicks with a creme egg are still available 🐣

I've just dropped off 301 Creme Eggs at Francis House that we collected at the shop and another 240 are being delivered to them today from Amazon using the cash donations we received from customers.
I've now got 200 chicks !!!!!!
They will go fast.
They are £2 each and you get a hand knitted chick with a creme egg inside.
This raises much needed funds for a children's hospice.
Just say those 2 words again.... Children's hospice.

Today we have received 245 eggs in the form of 2 kind donations. The first was a huge box from Amazon containing 240 eggs sent from a former customer who now lives in the USA.
The second was a box of 5 eggs from a couple who live up the road and the husband has been coming here for years. When his wife put her eggs down next to the huge pile she said "I've only brought 5"
Now I know she was only joking but 5 eggs are gratefully received just as equally as 240 eggs and just as equally as 1 egg.
We ain't judging anyone !!!!

It's chocolate chick season again !!!!!!
We do this every year and you never let us down.
Every Creme egg is put in a chick then sold for a quid. You can buy a box of 5 for £2 so that's then converted to £5 for the Hospice.

On Monday 19th September we will be closed all day for the Queen's funeral service ❤️

This Friday 17th June we have to close at around 2pm so we can all attend a funeral.

CREME EGG REQUEST !!!!!!
We are now collecting Cadburys Creme Eggs.
They will be split evenly between Dr Kershaw's and Francis House for them to put chicks on and we will then sell the chicks near Easter.
Please drop them off in the shop.

On the days of BUS STRIKES we may have to sort our children and ourselves out which may impact the shop slightly.

This SATURDAY 21st AUGUST we will be closing at 10.30am but for a very good reason.
One of our barbers are getting married.
We are very sorry indeed for the inconvenience it may cause you and we realise this may mess you up or even make you angry.... Saying that... we make no apologies at all for putting work to one side and taking time out to celebrate together on this most joyous of occasions.
