Our next Open Studios - 7 September ‼️‼️‼️

Join us on 7th September for a look inside the studios of up to 50 artists, crafters, makers, designers, photographers and more! Alongside open studios we’ll have a group show in the gallery, workshops led by our artists across the mills for all the family, as well as performances! This is always the biggest event of the year and we’d LOVE to see you there, everyone welcome!

I went to visit today, which is located at Nile Mill in Chadderton. It’s the home of and Adam from the band very kindly gave me this record and a CD! The lads have built the rehearsal rooms themselves and it’s a cracking facility for rehearsals, recordings and more. Go check it out of you’re a local band!

We are SO proud to present our next exhibition of resident artist Bill Eiffert! ⚡️⚡️⚡️ This will be Bill’s first solo show, presenting a selection of his incredible paintings and collages from the last 4 years. Bill is a local artist who began painting later in life, but has been prolific since day 1, creating hundreds of works from his studio here at 1853 Studios!

Expect large scale colour field paintings, other_wordly scapes and playful collage.
