"If it wasn't for coming here I wouldn't be breastfeeding," praised mum Chloe Hadfield about our Baby Bistro at Stanley Road Family Hub.
Chloe was helped by Home-Start, who run the Bistros with Oldham health visitors, after discovering her daughter Avery had a tongue-tie.
"I came here and went through latching and it was all uphill," said Chloe.
"And they don't just support with breastfeeding. It's socialising with baby and getting advice on weaning with other mums.
"It's so much more than if baby is feeding on the b**b."

Mums and babies had plenty of skele-fun at this morning’s Baby Bistro at Stanley Road Family Hub.
Our Baby Bistros, run by our commissioned provider Home-Start HOST in partnership with Oldham health visitors, are making a real difference, providing infant feeding support while mums and babies form lifelong friendships through peer support and play.
Mum Jessica Leigh Bowker, who has a six-month-old son Reggie, said about the Stanley Road Bistro, run by Infant Feeding Peer Supporter Forida Begum: “Home Start saved me. My friend went to the bistro in Shaw and told them my baby had a tongue tie, and half an hour later they came to my house to give advice.
“He had it removed the day after, and he fed for 45 minutes.
“My friend told me there was a Chadderton group and I’ve been coming here ever since.”
