Thank you Arun Parks and Greenspaces Arun District Council for coming to visit the team last week 💚 It was a great opportunity to collaborate and celebrate the successes of this season, including the retention of six Green Flag Awards, and to look ahead to the coming months. We are proud to work in partnership with you.

This Friday, the Parks and Greenspaces team paid a visit to Tivoli Group Limited and Tivoli Lifestyle at their Ford depot. The council's Deputy CEO and Director of Environment and Communities, Philippa, along with our Group Head, Joe, were in attendance.

The purpose of our visit was to express gratitude to the entire Tivoli team for their diligent efforts this summer, which ensured that our parks and greenspaces were in the best condition possible for our residents and visitors. Additionally, we celebrated the enormous achievement of retaining six Green Flag Awards.

Light refreshments were provided by Edgcumbes Coffee Roasters & Tea Merchants, which helped feed our conversations with the Tivoli operatives and team leaders. We took the opportunity to hear about their experiences of the season, the challenges they encountered and what their thoughts were for the months ahead.

Last week our Business Development Director Robert Cunliffe was part of an expert panel discussion at Pro Landscaper’s Future of Commercial Landscaping conference. The session topic was ‘To tender or not to tender?’ discussing industry procurement and touching on frameworks, pre-market engagement, the Procurement Act 2023 and innovation in bids.

The conference brought together a variety of speakers - all of which offered insights into some of the key opportunities and challenges in the sector, and how commercial landscaping can embrace change and progress. It was our pleasure to be involved in this ‘Stand Out, Make A Difference’ (SOMAD) project led by VINCI Facilities to help clear and re-establish a Forest School within the grounds of Ley Hill School in Chesham.

The space was once a thriving plot where children would engage with nature, and learn about it. However, since the pandemic, it had been neglected and little used. The team, with some donated labour from the farm opposite, were able to clear a small pond and create an amazing 'campfire' area.

Headteacher Victoria Lang said: "It's so evident to see how much was achieved in such a short space of time! I know our children are going to get so much enjoyment from it when we finally launch our new Forest School.

"I am so grateful for the support from VINCI Facilities and Tivoli and despite the bad weather we experienced - phenomenal progress has been made! We couldn't have done this without you and your team."

We hope the site will provide the pupils with enjoyment, inspiration and valuable education for years to come 💚 well done to all involved 👏
