No rest for me though, I’ll be wandering around the warehouse stocking up our extensive range of chilled drinks and crisps etc
Later, I’ll be chained to the cooker
baking delicious 🥧 pies and 🍰 cakes to welcome you back to the short working week.
Homemade pies served with chips are great value at just £4.50, the usual accompaniments are 60p extra each.
You can also get a Rag pudding with chips.
Chicken curry or chill with chips/rice for the same price.
Feel like being healthy, we do salad boxes too 🥬 🍅 🥒 🧅 🍖 🧀 🥚

Another homemade cheese and onions as yesterday it flew out.
Make them it to a filling meal and add chips for £4.50.
Usual accompaniments available peas, beans, gravy and curry sauce for an extra 60p 😀

Tomorrow we have our delicious homemade 3 cheese and onion pie for lunch. Make a meal out of it and add a generous portion of chips for only £4.50. Be quick this flies out 😀

It might be hot but, but with the help of a fan and some ice pops we’ll be here to serve you hot and cold food. Ffs I survived the summer of ‘76 and like every other profession, my job comes with its ups and downs. Which includes melting over a hot griddle to serve you lot a hot bacon butty in a bloody heat wave.
We also have 42 different flavours of chilled drinks to keep you cool as well as some delicious cold sandwiches/salads. 😂🥰

Just to let everyone know, tomorrow, 21st June The shop will be closed. We will reopen on Wednesday as normal. 🥰👌😀

RANT TIME !!!
Firstly I know I’m not the only one affected by the energy price increase, but how the fu£k are you supposed to deal with it.
At Butties, the last 60 days I’ve used 1860 units of electricity. This has cost £271. Not including standing charge and VAT.
If, in the next 60 days I use the same amount this will cost me £781.20 for the units only. Standing charge has also increased.
That’s a £510 increase!! 😡
Yet I put my prices up 10p or so for the first time in 4 years and there’s uproar 🤦‍♀️
Looks like I’ll not be retiring any time soon.
Will I make year 28 🥲

After 4 long years, I’ve had to increase my prices slightly due to the continuing rise of produce, packaging and energy. Here’s the new menu board 😀

You may be aware that sadly on Monday Lisa gained her wings. She had been serving many of you for around 6 years and was definitely one hell of a character. Many will remember us arguing and calling each other names, She was my re**rd and I was her bi**ch but it made you lot laugh as we did get very close to the bone at times. I’m sharing this on behalf of Lisa’s aunty Yvonne, if anyone would like to donate that would be amazing. If like me you’d rather donate directly to avoid any fees you can do this via Butties and I’ll pass it on. Thank you 💔❤️
