Tuesday 5th March 2024; the day Facebook & Instagram were down…and I won’t lie, I actually felt a little bit liberated. Did you? The constant swipe of opening these APPs either for your own personal use or for work can be a little bit overstimulating at times.🤪

But anyway, it was all very short-lived as we scrambled to get back into our accounts. I did have some problems getting in EVEN with Two Factor Authentication being setup and at that stage, I was a little concerned. I had DUO Authentication APP activated, but it didn’t recognise my device. I then realised that I had a Google Authenticator set up too and that’s how I eventually got in. 😱

If you don’t have Two Factor Authentication set up, what planet are you living on!? I see it every day in the NI Business Group on Facebook… Personal Pages and Business Pages being hacked and people losing complete access to their profiles.

⛔️People begging for help and guidance in this area and 95% of the time you aren’t getting that page back. This can be detrimental to businesses. So please, go and set this up NOW! (*Googles how to set up two factor authentication on Facebook and Instagram*)
