I’ve taken some time off in the last year, two days ago I had a message from Sarah at the The Borehole in Stone for a last minute Popup.
The turnout was amazing we got so busy I didn’t have time to take any photos of food. Needless to say we sold out!
The pub brew there own Ale 🍺 Craft Beer, of course we tried all the ales out🙌
They also do pop ups inviting different food vendors and it’s been on going since covid, runs through all summer!
Looking forward to working with you all again🙏
Thank you again Sarah and the team at The Borehole Stone.
If you’re ever down Staffordshire way go give there Ale and Larger a try🍺✨💫

Our first 3 day event at
I’m so proud of our team🥳 I wanted to say a special thank you to Jon K**a of it all started with a fone call of collaboration offer! Thank you for seeing something and being a humble men of your word.
I’m sure this is the first of many many more successful collaboration.
Few hiccups was down to electricity as we were promised electricity and water. Water supply also supplying the whole of the ground with one tap only. Same with electricity which I was so disappointed with as the event organisers priorities were set only for there own win without concidering the impact it took on my business.
Due to that we were connered into using our own generator which cost me broken appliances and letting my customers down. Loss of money and broken supplies will mean purchasing new appliances.
My apologies to my customers for the let down, maybe these are just a few things that the organisers need to consider.
Nevertheless there is always room for improvements.
Special thank you to my team Jon, Josh Tabaka for always being my everything😂
Kelemete, Litia, Holly
My side bar staff and also organising our accommodation my Tau(Manasa) my sister Lois and one big cheche Milli G.
And the rest of my Nadarivatu family for your love and support always. My kids for being my biggest inspiration as to why I do this,to show you all that anything and everything is possible.
And last but not least my beautiful customers I’m so happy to hear all the feedback! I’m so glad that the hype was as good as the taste.
As we grow we also reflect on how far we came, pregnant and selling “Roti curry” on the streets of Oswestry. To popping up here and there. Leaving lots of room for improvement and seeing how far this is going to take us is very exciting indeed. Vinaka see you all Next time😘

I’m very particular with the way I like things…I gave her a task and she’s only gone and done this freehand work of art ..literally 🔥🔥🔥 and absolutely blown my mind👌🏾
Art in any form is an expression or application of human creativity, skill, and imagination…
I just can’t even put into words how happy and amazed I am at this!!! Last minute and you really pulled this one off!!!
You my girl 😜
Interestingly this afternoon I came across a post about another business, it triggered me not because of that business or a particular person. It triggered me because it was something I struggled with for many years when I’m dealing with my fellow Fijians in the UK.
How we value ourselves by marketing our passion some may call it.
Passion carried me as far as my low charges did.
I’m glad this topic has been opened up!! It’s something I’ve been struggling with like I said with myself, so when the trigger Flared up I really had to ask myself why is it I’m still holding back on sharing my experiences to others.
I see a lot of other businesses have birthed through these tough times 👏🏽👏🏽
Whatever our own intentions maybe, for me personally this is how I will make my own bread and butter.
My passion, my gift and healing that I put through my food in price is something I’m not negotiating with anymore.
My dishes don’t just boom out of nowhere I spend endless hours watching and learning and educating myself!! Along with the 3 years I spend in education along with the 3 years in experience in my business.
Be considerate of all of those things, so maybe I should say when your coming to my stall don’t expect a bargain hunt. You pay for quality not quantity.
I’ve learned from a young age that it is my gift which I choose to heal people through it.
*Now I’m sure the fakes will say the same🙄*
Now for me I don’t mind loosing how ever many little mainas to fly with eagles.
🌴Save the date!! 🌴
🥥If you finally want get to taste our delicious menu, this is a great chance to do so.
*Menu will be posted later or maybe you find out on the day*
We will be looking forward to seeing you there my fellow Kaiviti Fijians 🏉😘

Bula Vinaka!
To all new and old followers. Just an update which I forgot to put on my page.
We have closed out Oswestry Market stall. Our plan for the future is to go mobile and do events & also we are currently taking bookings for parties.
This decision was a long awaiting one, few repeating issues within the area has left us no choice but to look into leaving Oswestry for good. This decision obviously has to be done carefully and thoroughly to make sure Kana With Kassie will stay operating.
For the time being we are still there and sorting out other side of our business to help develop into the next stage of Kana With Kassie. This transition hasn’t been the easiest, but I’m sure it will be all worth it.
We are still part time operating as delivery, but our main focus is to get Kana With Kassie ready for this year’s events that’s on our Diary. This is an exciting year for us as events has been one of my most feared move🤩 but behind every challenge awaits award 💫
🙏🏽I’d also like to advice all that inquire about booking private parties to please research on charges for catering services. As I’m trying my hardest to cost as low as possible for our ITaukei customer. We are a business and we will continue to operate as one🙏🏽
Vinaka 🇫🇯🙏🏽
Trial test is a yes from me.
Yum!!!!
Best curry spices I’ve tried!!! The Fiji curry spice blend.
Duck curry 🤤
3 table spoon of the curry spice
2 table masala & 2 table spoon Tumeric
Mix together and leave to marinate for an hour or longer.
Heat up your oil, add your onions and garlic ginger chilli paste for couple of minutes.
Add your cut up duck pieces stir and leave.
I didn’t add any water this was all the water that came out of the duck, but if you find yourself thinking it might burn…add abit of water. Potatoes are also optional
But anyways…guys look at it 🤤 this is definitely something to look forward to from Fiji Stores
Watch how I made this Duck Curry using Fiji blend spices from
Tahitian Chestnut aka “Na ivi”
One thing I remember about Fiji is how simple life can be. Our meals & snacks would come from either sea ,fruits veg or nuts. And in every season it was exciting because the island of paradise Fiji is one of the most abundant island that gives nutrients naturally.
I’m trying to recreate the memory of my olders purchasing this in the market, warm and ready wrapped in bananas to be purchased and consumed.
Chestnuts remain a good source of antioxidants, even after cooking. They're rich in gallic acid and ellagic acid—two antioxidants that increase in concentration when cooked. Antioxidants and minerals like magnesium and potassium help reduce your risk of cardiovascular issues, such as heart disease or stroke.
Head on over to and purchase yours today guys!

Babakau
Is also known as Fijian Pancake or Fijian donut. Unlike English donuts, we like to cut it open spread butter and jam or peanut butter whilst enjoying it with a hot cuppa.
We have it in the morning usually but there’s no telling when the right time really is for Babakau.
A process of sometimes hard hours has been cut down with this product. 1hr from start to finishing it off with a hot cuppa & I’m so shocked at how good they’ve turned out.
On the packet it also says you can you this mix for Qulaqula, Im going to try lolo bun too with this packet 😍
Please go ahead and check it out at
Visit there website and check out what other Fijian treats they have in store💯
