Our Story

We have now been here 9 years and since buying the property we have been working hard to improve the exterior and interior from new flooring and garden paths to new front brick work and all new windows and doors keeping it all in character to a beautiful building.

Our kitchen team has created contemporary & classical menu to suit all tastes from locally sourced suppliers where possible.

Why not join us on one of our themed evenings, as we have a Steak Night every Thursday from 5-9pm. Or perhaps try our Seafood evening which is on the third Friday of every month. We also have Planty's Fish and Chip Shop Night, which we host on the first Tuesday of every month.

The front of house Management team all together bringing their own sense of flair when hosting events, weddings and special occasions and creating a fantastic atmosphere in our restaurant receiving many compliments from our visitors.

We are very grateful for the support and lovely compliments we receive from our guests and always welcome feedback from our customers, so please tell us what you have enjoyed and let us know any ideas to help us make your next time at the Shropshire even more pleasurable.
