First fix preparation underway. Sockets and switches all marked out ready for chasing.

Another Defibrillator installation this time at Otterton FC judging by the fitness of some of the lads up there the grant couldn't have come soon enough. We wasted no time in getting it installed. Its registed with too so if anyone local has the need to use it 999 can help locating its position. I hope it is never needed to be used.

Following on from our last weeks installation of the myenergi 22kW 3 phase Zappi's Northavon Group LTD , Great to see the first ev in the fleet being charged up. Provisions have also been installed ready for the addition of Solar PV and battery storage.

Loaded up ready for this weeks installs. 22kW Commercial and 7.2kW domestic EV chargers from myenergi along with Solar immersion controllers and a new Distribution board and control gear cable from Prysmain Group . tools getting the job done everytime. STANLEY organisers keeping the van tidy.

Bonfire night is very different in Ottery St. Mary!! Only in Ottery can you see Children running around packed streets with a flaming tar barrel on their shoulders. As the crowds grow so do the barrels. Eventually leading down to a guy sat on top of a mammoth pile of timber and old trees. A very well organised event and an experience that just has to be seen in person!!

We have a new employee, A* first day on site for the real boss of the business. Helping out whilst I'm one handed! Claire used the chaser and the sds chisel whilst adding additional sockets and bedside lighting.
Nice and neat too. Great work!!!

Not the most ideal weekend, the next couple of weeks will be office bound as I've managed to break my clavicle into a few pieces playing football. Those that know me won't be surprised. I've been very lucky over the years playing sport with very little injuries, age is definitely catching up with me. I've got to have another scan on Thursday then maybe surgery to put all the bits back where they should be. I'm not in much pain but it's annoying to be missing work.

Woohoo!! took delivery of our first v2 SolarEdge Energy Bank this afternoon, along with our normal SolarEdge inverters and optimisers. GSE Inroof mounting with JA Solar 385w panels.

Today we have been upgrading the lighting for our local The Ottery Larder there was a fault with one fitting and the others were on their way out. A good percentage of our profits go towards good causes such as sponsoring local football teams, helping in the community and helping those who are struggling. It doesn't have to be electrical related, we're always here when you need us. Always smiling and doing our best to keep the lights on!

Been a tad warm today digging a trench in the sun for an outbuilding supply. But it's all in a days work, I'm not cut out for all this hard work.
It's time for a cold shower well earned drink.

To all the kids and parents with grades in school, let me make you one promise.
The world is changing at a speed that our current school systems aren’t able to keep up with.
Instead of worrying if your kids get A’s, start worrying if they are kind and generous and warm and hard working and most of all lack entitlement.
That will matter much more to their happiness than a B in Science.
You'll never stop learning!! You dont have to be perfect, when you start working do something you enjoy. Challenge yourself!
Our society needs creative people right now, the next generation of , , , , etc are going to have to solve problems that will change the way we live.
Our future will be , we will adopt systems that don't necessarily exist yet.
So what happens in the next few weeks or months won't define you, the right mentality and work ethic will get you where you want to be!

Keep your head up and most of all keep smiling!!
