Been a while since I posted... I was 'James Harrison' but that FB site got hacked (and so couldn't administer 'Oxfordfolio`FB either)... so tentatively testing the (not the Thames) water again.
So firstly I was very honoured to publish Charlotte Bannister Parker's ' HOPE4CREATION' as a 2-volume in a slipcase edition for the launch on Friday 26th April at the Cherwell Boat House. A truly inspirational project and event. Check out the Hope4Creation FB page (Charlotte will be at the December 1st Oxford Indie Book Fair event.)

Complicity (The Dangers of Dreaming: Book 2) by Chloë L Blyth

‘To say Adam and Ella have some issues to work through is putting it mildly. There’s the fact Adam’s a Dream-Walker, the fact his brother Kyle dream-dated Ella before Adam plucked up the courage to introduce himself, there’s Ella’s newly discovered “side effect” and then there’s Jeremy. Bloody Jeremy. He might be a smug womaniser, but he can promise Ella one thing the other two cannot: that if she dreams of him, it’s because she wants to. No one else is going to put him there.

But with the world thrown into chaos, Gerome Clarke on the loose, and the Human Justice Department wanting Ella back under their “protection,” Ella has little time to figure out who or what she wants as she is plunged deeper into this world which once seemed so absurd but now seems unavoidable.’

Complicity is available now on our website https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/new-releases-2022/ and at the book fair on the 26th of November, only 9 days to go!

Vote for Honesty and Get Democracy Done by Ann Whitehead published by Claret Press. ‘The truth matters. Vital decisions made on our behalf require that the people in government are honest with the electorate. Vote for Honesty and Get Democracy Done seeks solutions to the increasing problem of dishonest behaviour by some UK politicians. It is an action plan to force political change.

This book is solution-led, rather than problem-led. The Vote for Honesty Campaign for the next general election is politically neutral.’

Available now on our website https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/new-releases-2022/ and in November at the book fair.

April's Magical Friends by Kizzy Petit

'April’s Magical Friends is a picture book about friendship, kindness, inclusion and care.

April is a little girl who likes to run, and jump, and twirl. One if her biggest, favourite things is pretending she has a pair of wings.

When April opens up her wings, she is ready to meet her three wonder friends with whom she plays without end: A unicorn called Lily, Sunny, the herbivore dinosaur. And Tututi, the friendly dragon.

They are different from each other, yet they learn about their differences in a kind and loving way.'

April's Magical Friends is out soon and will be available at Kizzy Petit's table at the book fair in November. https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/exhibitors/

Anthology of Possibilities by David Reynolds-Moreton, published by sci-fi-cafe.com.

'Fourteen, often prophetic, tales written a quarter of a century ago, many of the doom-laden fates herein have become realities to us today.

In this previously unpublished anthology, David Reynolds-Moreton takes us back to the golden era of science fiction. Simply, and gently written he explores what possibilities may come.

Fans of his work will see the seeds of one of his more well known books Greenways and avid followers of science and space exploration will realise from what was known at the time of writing just how much we have learned about our neighbouring planets in such a relatively short time.'

Available to buy now on our website https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/new-releases-2022/ and at the sci-fi-cafe.com table at the indie book fair in November!

Food of Love by Sylvia Vetta, published by Claret Press. ‘Boomer Britain transformed itself. It went from white to multicultural, class ridden to social mobility, empire to empireless. Throw in a female PM and it’s a nation reinventing itself. Sylvia Vetta’s life mirrors those changes. Peppered with facts, stirred with love, sprinkled with insight, this is a life story at the crossroads of s*x, class and race. But with recipes.’

Available now on our website https://www.oxfordindiebookfair.co.uk/new-releases-2022/ and at the book fair on the 26th of November
