Mental Health Week 2021!
Of all my roles in the NHS, working in mental health has been the most difficult and yet the most rewarding by far. Helping patients to open up and a lot of the time being able to relate wholeheartedly because you yourself often drift to that same place; then seeing them fight to get to a better place after a little helping hand is Amazing. They inspire me and I hope I inspire them.

Mental health week lacks sense in my opinion because it's not just one week that mental health affects people, it's not just one week that it almost (or does) kill people. Mental health should be taken just as seriously (if not more) as physical health problems. To have your own thoughts consume you and to have your own mind want you to cease to exist is the most excruciating feeling. Not knowing who to speak to or even how to verbalise what/how you're feeling is painful. Being given contact details for strangers if in crisis is great but having someone that can actually 'see' you is comforting, even if it can't be fully acknowledged at the time.

To anyone struggling at any time I really See You and I am here for You. My messages are always open (either on here or ). You are not alone, despite what your mind may want you to think, you are strong regardless of whether you sometimes need help or not. You've got this 💪🏾🖤

Profile balancing by pulling the lips out is something that cannot be done on everyone, however this beaut client was perfect for it! Plumped lips, slight philtrum tweak and look naturally gorge 👏🏾

Dermal filler! 'Ducky lips'.. The 'trout pout' - lip filler does not have to live up to any of these stereotypes! Filler is great for hydration and can be subtle and natural. This lovely client wanted her lips pulled out to be more visible and to be given some shape.. So that's what she got! 👏🏾😊

Deluxe Dermaplaning with BB glow! Fab combination. Removing that vellus hair and built up dirt and finishing with a subtle foundation coverage gently microneedled into the skin 😍

Hello to all new followers & thank you to all the lovely businesses that nominated me!.. My name is Kayda Marshall-Tyson and I am the owner and advanced practitioner of KMT Aesthetics. I am British/Bajan/Kittitian mix, in my mid 20's, a full time mental health support worker on inpatient wards and am studying to be a Psychotherapist! I chose to start my businesses because I have a genuine passion for helping people to look and feel good.
