Collage a Trois

Another page from my handmade journal. I get a great sense of peace from this book. I love flipping through the pages composed of handmade papers and stickers. I loved using the flower stamps as well. #

Here’s a 10x10 collage I made using a variety of gelli printed papers, book pages with mark making and spray painted paper. It’s really relaxing to riffle through your handmade papers and choose areas that you love. I particularly enjoy laying them down and playing with them to see how they look best together. I’ve come to realise that art is okay and how precious is that in modern busy life?! Here’s to making more!

I collaged an A3 piece of mixed media paper using gelli prints and handmade paper then chopped it up into smaller pieces. Now I need to decide what to do with them!

Some gorgeous mixed media tags I made recently 😍 I used some collage papers I’d made a while ago as I hadn’t found another project for them. I then used Dina Wakley gloss sprays through stencils to create focal points. Fussy cut them all!! 😩😭 Then added various embellishments to make them look pretty 🤩

It’s a work in progress but most of my art journals are! I get too excited about different projects and start working on new ones before previous ones are finished! Anyone relate?!
