Due to the success of the free menopause talk this week, it’s looking very likely I will be doing a mini tour around Oxfordshire at numerous GLL sites. Will keep you posted but this is fantastic that with this collab we are helping more women to navigate menopause lifestyle changes.
I would love to take this more nationally too. So if you are not local to Oxfordshire feel free to message me directly.
This can include health centres, gyms, PT’s, leisure clubs and businesses.
Very Important:
From the age of appro 44 women lose 0.4% of there bone mineral density per year!
This means the risk of osteoporosis is greater.
But let me help you:
Women in there 30’s should be doing strength work.
It is never too late to start.
Strength training can have a real positive effect on reducing osteoporosis.
The impact of bone loss is improved by exercising including impact, weight bearing and strength work.
All of these are covered on our programme.
We take bone health seriously.
JC Friday thought:
For years, women have been told to eat less and do more cardio.
Women are now understanding this isn’t the best way to train for fat loss, bone density, toning and especially throughout menopause.
If you get the chance this weekend, inform your friend of the huge benefits of strength training, increasing your protein, and shorter smarter training sessions.
They don’t have to join our programme (but why wouldn’t they?! 😉) but it is important we help share facts and the huge benefits of why we do what we do.
