- bar will be open from 6:30pm for ayone who would like to buy wine
- doors open 7pm
- dinner starts in the Old Hall at 7:30pm

Just a reminder that our Newcomer's Concert will be taking place this Sunday at 3pm in the Chapel, with performances from new members of our college, students and staff alike! It promises to be a lovely afternoon celebrating music at Mansfield, and will be followed by refreshments.

hello everyone !! here is a quick snapshot of the main musical groups we have at mansfield - choir & wind ensemble - as well as a little preview of the events to look forward to this term 🎶🎶🎶

if you have any questions about getting involved with choir/wind ensemble, feel free to dm :) both are very friendly & open to new members from any college, so we hope to see many of you getting involved !!

We'll be meeting in Uni Parks at 4pm (or come to the plodge at 3:50 to walk over with us) before continuing on to the King's Arms next to Broad Street at around 6pm.

With of the promise of picnic food, good vibes and (hopefully) sunny weather, come along to relax and celebrate another term of music at Mansfield 🌞🌈🧺

If one concert wasn't enough, there is another exciting musical event happening on Thursday 18th (4th Week) !!

Come see OXCAR - a student acapella group led by Mansfield's Qingyang Zhang - perform in Mansfield Auditorium 🕺✨🎵

omg its nearly the end of term and what better way to celebrate than in the Old Hall on thursday of 8th week???

Mansfield students can book through the college meal booking system - otherwise, there is a Google form for non-Mansfield members (please message if you would like this form but haven't been given access yet!)

Did someone say collab...? An ice skating social will be taking place with Mansfield College Boat Club on Saturday for the ultimate Mansfield societies crossover episode.
Come along at 11am to the ice rink for a cool (in more ways than one) time❄

This term's concert will be in the chapel on Sunday (12th February), kicking off at 3pm. With repertoire ranging from Handel to James Brown, there's something for everyone! Hope to see lots of you there :)))

After the success of last term's event, karaoke will be returning this week for all that want to take part - or simply enjoy others' tunes!

Just a quick heads up to say that elections will be coming up towards the end of this term for the new committee of music society - feel free to ask any questions to current committee members (names all on this page) if you are having thoughts...

New term, new recitals... come along to the first Mansfield music performance of Hilary on Sunday.

If you have a hankering to play - please get in touch. There will also be opportunities to play at the mid-term concert on 12th Feb, or the next recital later in term!

Mansfield's wind ensemble will be having their termly performance on Monday in the chapel.
There will be refreshments provided throughout the mixture of classical and christmassy tunes - kick off your 8th week with a bang with this Monday evening event

Pub social tonight! We'll be meeting at the porter's lodge at 8:45 (after choir rehearsals) and head from there to town...

Hi all, just a quick note to say there will be no recital tomorrow in the chapel - hope you all take the chance to enjoy the autumnal sun instead!

First music society social of the year!
Come along this Thursday to karaoke in the auditorium in Mansfield college - whether to sing, hang out, or eat snacks!

Be prepared to hear some SPOOKILY good tunes and BOOgie away...

Anyone who would like to perform in a recital this term, there are opportunities on Sunday 30th October (beginning of 4th Week) and Sunday 13th November (beginning 6th Week) at 3:30pm in the Chapel!
As short or long of a piece that you would like, the recitals can be a great chance to test out a piece or performance skills in front of a small and friendly crowd.
Please do email Lizzy if you would like to perform (deadline noon of the Wednesday before the recital).

Note: the recital previously advertised this Sunday will not be going ahead

It was great seeing so many people at Mansfield Fresher's Fair yesterday - we have lots of exciting events planned for this year and we look forwards to seeing lots of people there!
