Westbury People's Gallery
A community gallery dedicated to the honest portrayal of some of the world's most respected leaders. Open every Sunday 2-4 pm and at other times by appointment.
It includes artsists Italo Esposito,Julian Dourado,Melissa Lintern, Merlin Porter, Nini Sakhri, Alex Singleton, Mikey Watts, Jane Yates and many more A public art gallery in the open air in an easily accessible front garden. Community engagement is encouraged and the gallery holds a range of work from the local community as well as local and international artists.

Yesterday Alex Singleton came round to help take a print from the brilliant work of Munir Al Sachroni who is in residency at Fusion Arts this week and next. Do visit him there and buy some of his work !
For World Environment Day yesterday Helen Edwards organised performances in the gallery in parallel with Abuzar madhu performing at the River Ravi. We hoed that Munir Al Sachroni could join us but he wasn't free at the time so we celebrated the amazing lino cut he made. Some initial pictures are here, but more and a film will follow
Munir Al Sachroni has brought some amazing t shirts that reflect his work. These are available at Fusion Arts all this week to buy for just £20. Just pop in to where he is working all week in the Fusion Arts office in Gloucester Green . We may also bring some to the gallery to sell on his behalf here.

Munir Al Sachroni has created this amazing lino cut for West Papua and Palestine. It is at the gallery and we look to make some pressings from it in solidarity with Palestine and West Papua. Do see Munir's work at Fusion Arts while he is here. It is amazing !
