We have two dates for Our Butcher’s Kitchen evenings:
Thursday 31st October 2024
Thursday 20th February 2025
6.30pm- 9.30pm
Our traditional craft butchers will teach some core butchery skills and the participant will also learn more about meat, where each cut comes from and suggestions on how to cook each piece.
The evening will finish with a glass of wine, or soft drink and a light meal and you will also get to take home a joint of meat, usually based around the evenings course.
This will be available for £125.00 per person.
(Minimum age is 18 years old.)

Well, that was a busy bank holiday Monday at Aldens poultry production. Super proud of everyone working today.

What a fantastic meal Matthew and his mother Sara had in the Peers Dining Room at the Palace of Westminster. The food was simply stunning on every level.

Meet “Isaac”!

Isaac is an “intelligent” portion control machine ⚙️

Isaac will help with speed, efficiency, and delivery of a consistently excellent product.

Isaac is so big, that two forklifts were needed to unload it!

Why Isaac? For a machine so special we thought it should have a name! So, we asked the staff for ideas. Isaac came up trumps! (Isaac Alden was the Founder of Aldens in 1793)

Last month, Matthew Alden was granted the Freedom of
the City of London making him a “Citizen & Butcher of
London”!

The Freedom of the City today is closely associated with
membership of Livery Companies. Matthew is a member of
the Worshipful Company of Butchers – one of the oldest
Livery Companies which can be traced back to 975AD!
